I didn't like how some of the families gave advice to people on how they can do better in the show.

Plus, it was right out of order for BB to reassure Makosi that her sister wasn't there cos she wasn't available on the day. Which is what he sort of did. They don't want Makosi walking out on them, do they?

Not that she actually would have - she can cry at the drop of a hat.

I think Vanessa went right over the top with her "crying", she started before the video had even gotten halfway through

Yup...Makosi and Kemal are so fake with the 'Diva antics' and crying that i just didn't care...real or fake...didn't care cos i've seen it 100 times already.

I actually thought their tears were genuine; she looked very disappointed when she saw who was giving her message even though she grinned through it so as not to lose face in front of the others. Kemal had a huge worry that was removed when he saw his parents, most people would cry at that.

I think what you all say about her lying too much is very valid [boy crying wolf etc] but please recall that she lies, and then tell US that she lies. We know she is lying; it is deliberate and very much like an actor in a play who tells the audience something but not the other characters in the play [like Hamlet saying he’s going to kill Claudius]. She clearly sees this as a ‘performance’ and she is acting to get to the prize and I think she is playing the game very well, annoying though it may be. We, the audience, also can usually tell when she is lying because she’ll have a twinkle in her eye or the lie is so ridiculous it has to be a lie.

Some of the stuff is real, of course and I think her tears then were real, even if she had no intention of leaving, she was in need of reassurance and we all need that at times.

I think Kemal's reaction to the Videoe Message was very genuine. Kemal is a Drama Queen as is very proud of this but he has shown an new side to him that he is very vunerable.

Vanessa however was the Drama Queen as she cried even before they showed her video. That girl is so up Makosi's bum a crowbar will be required to tear them apart. Don't even get me started on Makosi.

I agree about Vanessa she started crying before her name had disapeared from the screen! I think Kemal was quite genuine but he did go over the top, I didnt think Craig had any right to sit there rolling his eyes and smirking at Anthony though.

I have heard or read somewhere that Derek doesnt have any real family left, his parents are both dead and I guess the rest of his family dont live in England so BB had to get who they could.

Just thought of something, some people might not like others seeing them crying, and some might not be bothered. Maybe Kemal and Vanessa were the ones that weren't bothered. Derek was trying to hide the fact that he was crying, i noticed that much.

While i agree Vanessa started before her video had begun, she wasn't actually crying, there weren't any tears, just wailing. It was pitiful ~IMHO.

I got the feeling that she only cried because Kemal did, at least his was emotional in that his parents were saying they loved him (which he was fearing they wouldn't)

Certain things can get you emotional in there, perhaps moreso than in real life. Not saying that some of it might have been crocodile, but it's a funny old thing once you're in there.
