I am really getting annoyed with Derek cod psychology on various different HMs. Seeing as how he admitted that he wouldn't normally associate with some of the people in the house, how can he state that he knows what type of people they are.

He currently seems obsessed with outing Anthony, purely on the basis that he only got interested in Orlaith after drinking. He also said this was why did whatever it was he did in pool with Makosi, conviently forgetting that Anthony and Makosi were flirting with each other weeks previously.

Has it not occured that Derek that Anthony just isn't attracted to Orlaith, she is a bit boring truth be told.

It amazes me that HMs take on board everything Derek says as gospel, if he spoke with Maxwell's accent HMs would just ignore everything he says. This is one of many reasons why I dislike Derek so much, he arrogantly looks down on HMs. He seems to thinks he's doing a great service assessing the faults of certain HMs, with those he deems worthy

Again, you're dead right dh76. His accent hints at superiority which, if you actually listen to what he says and how he says it, doesn't wash.

I think Derek is a pretentious posh. He went to the dairy room yesterday, and in a VERY TELLING MANNER, begged to all his friends out there to record "as many as possible" (with a dramatised tone!) of Wimbledon matches (regarded as the most cultured sport event in UK).

I find that extremely funny. If you're a genuine tennis fan, THERE IS NO WAY IN MILLION YEARS you could get it wrong. The Championship (i.e. The Wimbledon) is the biggest and most pretigious tennis event in the world. The schedule has always been like that for years (to be concluded in THE FIRST SUNDAY of July). I couldn't see any reason why Derek could get the date wrong - if he is really into this 'posh and cultured sport'.

It's forgivable if you are not sure about the actual dates of the US Open or French Open: because the hardcourt (US) and claycourt (French) seasons are relatively longer (up to 10 weeks with many tournaments in between). But grasscourt season (Wimbly) is very short, only four weeks with less than 3 warm-up tournaments leading to the grand slam (The Wimbledon). If you're a genuine tennis fan (not to mention a British!) - there's no way you could get it wrong!

Some people just can't seem to leave other people alone, and it seems Derek is one of these people. To be honest though, i've only seen team Makosi taking an interest in what Derek has to say, the rest don't bother.

Derek is a pretentious snob ...only interested in a conversation when it's about his life and/or as a vechile for him to be hateful towards others.
