In The Firing Line




After hours of grumbling in secret, Team Diva have finally confronted Kemal about pretending not to have nominated.

The Divas couldn't believe Kemal had voted without consulting them and Vanessa griped, "It looks to us very sneaky."

The Lounge filled with sour faces expecting an explanation, but the belly dancer tried to stand his ground.

Kemal: I am not a liar!
"I had to nominate that day, I can't explain why," he muttered mysteriously.

But no one was satisfied by this reason, feeling the real problem was that he had tried to mislead them. Both Orlaith and Science claimed Kemal had denied voting altogether.

Dismissing these incidents, the stiletto-wearer didn't see why they'd suddenly lost their trust in him. He hadn't lied in the last seven weeks, he argued, "Why would it change this week?"

Still only receiving a cool response, Kemal sighed, "Everyone's got the wrong vibe."

Yes Kemal, and that vibe is bound to get worse after Friday night's twist!

Miracle Cure

Craig and Anthony have been marvelling over how the idea of being nominated has suddenly cured a previously bedridden Kemal.

Due to Big Brother's lies, the remaining Team Saskia members believe they will face the public vote alongside Kemal and are suspicious of his sudden recovery.

Watching Kemal wander about the garden in his heels, Craig whispered, "Funny how he's up for nomination and his illness suddenly goes. What the f*** is that all about?"

The idea that a few days' rest might have made Kemal better obviously didn't wash with the boys and Anthony agreed it was a strange coincidence.

When Kemal came over to join them Anthony quipped, "Think that's the best cure for anyone, put them up for eviction and boosh! You're sound as a pound!"

But the belly dancer didn't look amused. "Do you think I like being in bed not wearing stilettos?" retorted Kemal in a threatening tone.

The Geordie immediately thought it best to apologise, especially as Craig had suddenly fallen silent. "I was just joking mate!" he backtracked.

Kemal grudgingly accepted but added, "It's just that jokes have ulterior meanings."

They certainly do Kemal, they certainly do.

Makosi has continued bad-mouthing fellow Team Diva member Kemal this morning.

The nurse began moaning yesterday that her friend was acting differently since receiving a supportive message from his parents. This morning she put on the same record again.

Within two hours of waking, Makosi had already spotted Kemal behaving suspiciously. "He's trying to make a comeback," she whispered to Vanessa.

Makosi felt the belly dancer wasn't dressing as flamboyantly as usual and thought his toned down dress was highly significant. "He knows it doesn't have the same impact anymore," she explained.

But she had yet another bone to pick. "He's awfully uncomfortable about you and me," she confided in new best friend Vanessa.

Her cookie-munching pal agreed, complaining, "Why couldn't we all hang around together?"

The pair then turned their talons onto Orlaith. They began by discussing how beautiful she was but their talk soon twisted into yet more catty remarks. They saw Orlaith as a follower without a mind of her own who was basking in Team Diva's reflected glory.

"She idolises you, bless her," Makosi told Vanessa.

Mia-ow!

Least he made the best of his voting time, voting for Makosi, if she only knew

Kemal must be seeing Makosi for what she really is, a hypocritical liar. She talks about other people bitching, and yet she does the self and same thing herself. As long as she's in till the last 2 weeks, that will be okay, after that just get rid of her

I think that Kemal may be a bit psychic, because he said he wasn't sure whether to nominate or not, but then he woke up and something told him that he had got to nominate and also who to nominate for. Also, when asked by the other housemates why he nominated, he said that he didn't really know why, but he just knew that he had to.

It seems the team don't like him, now that he's not going along with their plans. If that's what Makosi is thinking anyway, the fact that he's not just going with what she has to say.

What business is it of theirs anyway? They're not supposed to discuss nominations let alone collude on them.

I don't know if this has been noted but Kemal said one of his reasons for nominating ,in addition to not knowing who Makosi was,was that "something is up here today".I wouldn't be surprised if he thought nominating Makosi might be good for her-in some reverse way.(ie all not nominated at all up for the vote.)

Alsop later he said directly to her as sternly as he could that "week 7"is something we will discuss in detail when we get out together.

So the prediction is he won't vote her again and he doesn't think their friendship is dodgy.

I might be reading your post the wrong way but, he is doing something good for Makosi, but she and the gang are too selfish too see this, or something like that

It was just a suspicion of mine-he might use it as an excuse.

As I say he said "somethings very wierd today"in the diary room and later said to her "we will discuss week 7 when we get out"
I think he realises she won't know but maybe he was thinking he might be helpfull(given it was a wierd week and there is no evidence she gets nominations(even from full strength Team Saskia)

Let's see if he repeats the nomination again.

Kemal is his own man. Makosi may like to think she had him wrapped round her little finger, but she clearly hasn't. I think she's realising that fact which is why the knives are out for him.

As for Vanessa - could she get any further up Makosi's arse? Perhaps if she dislocated both shoulders, she could wriggle up an inch more

Once Makosi doesn't have any power or influence anymore, they'll switch to somebody else. It's all about being part of the gang, once they find others that are popular, they'll make the switch. I'm starting to respect Science more now. I thought Science was just a ranting looney, but it turns out that he has a good side as well. And the "popular ones" who wanted to get rid of him, have now been evicted from the house. Wonder if Science outstays Makosi and Vanessa??
