Sounds like a joke on Derek's part to me, a reference to the Black Power salutes given by some American athletes in a 70s Olympics (can't recall which one). Makosi is just stirring things as per.

And Calrissian - of course someone shouting "White Power" would be different for good historical reasons

Mexico 68 Olympics to be precise (which makes a change for me ::lol:: )

anyway Derek's comment, which I missed, I was nothing more than cheap joke. If Orlaith took offence I can understand, though she should have said something directly to Derek

re: Kemal telling Makosi he nominated her, he never actually said that (from what I saw last night/this morning). She guessed from his not too subtle talk and he never denied it. Hopefully they'll both be banned from noms next week, if Makosi survives

I know I've been the loudest person on here to brand Derek a racist but things now have to be taken in context. Its just a game show and I'm typing this a few minutes before the 2 minutes silence in London and across the world.

Our debates on racism on here can get quite heated and frequently run off on tangents. In the cirumstances I'd prefer the real world to sort out any racism debates and not comment on anything that's said in that mental pressure cooker that is the big brother house.

I will not be posting on this subject for awhile, hope you understand.

Orla more than likely told Makosi what Derek said because they (Makosi, Van, Kemal and Orla) were bitching about Derek the other day...led by Makosi, of course - you know how they all report back to Makosi.

As to their physical/verbal threats against Orla - this is the REAL Makosi, Derek and Kemal - some of us noticed it earlly on what this group were REALLY like. In the event of them carrying out their threats, I hope Orla (not that I like her in anyway) shows some of Saskia's gumption - that'll scare the B- Jaysus out of them... ::lol::

Out With Orlaith

video Watch with Series or 24Hr Pass >

Just when it looked like Kemal's days as a Diva were numbered, the Team have decided to give Orlaith the push instead.

Having had a heart-to-heart with Makosi last night, Kemal seems to have won back his place and is eager to stop Orlaith from edging in on his territory.

Whispering with Vanessa he vowed, "I will not allow her to split us up."

His cookie-munching friend agreed that the model was getting to be an irritation.

Remembering a gossiping session with Makosi yesterday, Vanessa noted Orlaith had joined in without invitation. "She was butting in about a load of crap," she hissed.

And Kemal worried that their Irish Housemate was muscling in on quality diva time for dastardly reasons. "She's consciously trying to come between us," he explained.

Better watch your back Orlaith!
