Why don't you have a bit of both option?

Science is neither a saint or a sinner (not that I really know what either of those words really mean).

He is a flawed human being - but who isn't?

Science: contemplative...at times

------
Saint, certainly no 'sinner'. He has been a massive turbulent influence in the house, one that no one has yet defeated. One of the few straight talkers in the house. A lot not to like, some things to like. Science, its the only way to be sure.

So when does straight talking cross over to rudeness or insensitivity?

Wouldn't want someone to be rude or insensitive to the models of decency that occupy the BB house at the moment would we now.

Well, same could be said....one man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter.
----

Give me a straight talker any day. Could you place any trust in anything that slimy Derek says? You may often disagree with Science, but at least he is reliable and his word holds more truth than most of the others.

Calrissian: Until tomorrow...he'll just keep posting on

That's a good point. Yes, he can be rude and insensitive, but I've no doubt that if any HM was to speak to him (when he's not in a strop), they would discover that his bark is worse than his bite.

He has listened to Derek's patronising advice... and remember, when Mary was upset in the early days of BB, Science was the one who tried to help her.
