The littlest hobo was a beatiful husky/alsatian who entered a town at the start of each episode, solved a problem, then left again.

Kind of like a canine Shane, or a wandering Lassie.

Hi Obo if you read this :wave:

Really? I just thought it was because the bird-brain had a personal hygiene problem... {@}

::lol:: Very good.

They should put a real dog in there again. That little terrier was the star of BB2. No, not Bubble.

I've finally forgotten the little fella's name, I've always been able to remember the little dog's name which is more than I can say for most old HMs.

Thanks Calrissian, that'd of been a good place to start if I'd thought!

we should start a 'we love Obo thread to lure her back into the fold!' I'm missing her! The Hobo thing reminds me of something from when I was 7. I don't know if anyone else knows it bcz I grew up in Germany and some things werent' the same over here but there was a cat called Gobbelino, he used to live the same as Hobo, every week he'd find a home and then lose it. After 3 times I used to block my ears bcz I knew it wouldn't end well and I'd cry. The song went: 'One fine night in a witches cavern, two little kittens rolled onto the floor, one named Sootikins was black all over, the other Gobbelino had one white paw... Ahh the days... Did they have that in the UK then or am I billy-no-mates nostalgia-wise?

We had that!

By God, that's the first time I've heard that since I was young!

So the old memory is still intact. :angel:

Just what I was thinking! about me I mean, I just googled it and...
Gobbolino, the witch’s cat

One fine night in a witch’s cavern,

Two kittens rolled on to the floor;

One, called Sootica, was black all over,

The other, Gobbolino, had one white paw.

Who’ll give a home to a kitten?

Who’ll give a home to a cat?

Gobbolino you may call me;

I want just a fire and a mat.

One white paw and a sheen of tabby,

Two lovely eyes not green but blue,

None of the witches would take this kitten …

And neither did his mother know what to do.

Then one day, when the sun was shining,

Gobbolino found he was all alone.

The witch had gone a deserted him forever,

So Gobbolino washed himself, then he left home.

Thanks Alan!!
:D :D

Oh God I hope so Alan! That story used to break my heart as a child. thinking of a poor little cat who was unloved and unwanted and homeless! :-( Maybe that's what made me a 'cat-person' as an adult, who knows! Sorry to go off topic :D
