First blood to England - Quite literally!! Langer, hurt on the elbow, blood showing, Ponting, smashed in the face trying to go for the hook, blood dripping down his face!! :D :D

Great start for England! 66-4 the Aussies are, fantastic aggressive bowling!

Not happy in the slightest, the first time the England batters take the game to Australia with Pietersen smashing McGrath and Warne about and I see bugger all of it because I've to help my dad in town!!!!!

Hoggard went without scoring, Pietersen smashed McGrath and Warne about getting to 50 and then got out going for a huge 6, great catch from Martyn. Good effort from Jones and Harmison and we've done well to get within 35 of of them given the top order collapse.

On a side note, Graham Thorpe has announced his retirement from International Cricket with immediate effect.
