Not everyone, but most people are bisexual. However, this is on a continuum, and doesn't mean everyone would actually sleep with either sex. You may be mostly straight, for instance, but be able to see how attractive members of your own sex are.

I agree, we are all born with the possibility to be anything. When we are born society has not conformed us to being 'straight' or 'gay', both of which are only terms society uses to label people.

I think it's a mixture of both.I'm not entirely sure anybody is born 100% straight or gay nor do I believe that a persons sexuality is set in stone. But I also think a lot of people feel compelled to conform to a sexual stereotype.Dereks conversation in the diary room was an example to me.He was confused by having developed sexual feelings for womenbut equally he seemed to think this was 'wrong' because it didn't compute with what he feels being gay should be.
That made a lot of sense...NOT!! ::lol::

Aw, I think Craig's devotion to Ant is really sweet - I@m sure they'll remain friends.. I hope Craig finds a partner worthy of such devotion eventually. I think Ant and Craig's friendship has made the BB experience easier to bear for both of them, they're a good double act - apart, I don't think I would have muct time for either of them .

Craig makes me laugh when he does his ...'Whatever, Wannabe, Loser, Jealous, You know it, OK, Sexual' retort ....I've started using it myself. ::lol::

ahhh now I know what Craig was crying (again) about last night

re: bisexuality - I'm 50/50 on that one ;). I believe a person is whatever sexuality they are when they're born, however society can shape your feelings.

one of the sad reasons why the 'traditional family' bridage are against gays adopting, is some strange belief that they'll 'turn' the kids gays (probably by casting a wicked gay spell or something  ). Which begs the question how there are any gay people, as most were brought up in hetrosexual households.

anyway this is getting far too deep for me, this is supposed to be about a superficial reality tv show :D

I actually think Craig isn't far off the mark. I think it is possible to meet someone same sex and be attracted to them..this doesn't mean you will or even want to actually have sex with them. A lot of kids develop crushes while growing up...it doesn't mean they are gay!

I once knew a woman who was man mad...and I mean man MAD! She had some horrible experiences with some of them but then she met a lesbian. They really hit it off and were drawn to each other and ended up living together. They eventually split up and the woman went back to relationships with men. She had lived as a lesbian for quite a few years but all the time she was adamant that she wasn't a lesbian just in love with her girlfriend.

I think women are wonderful and have long held the theory that men should live with men and women should live with women. When I have my women friends around for dinner or anything, they all just muck in and get on with everything. There is a communal sharing with the kids and the house stuff, whilst the men are generally useless and bored with this kind of stuff, so go of and talk football or cars etc. Life would be less complicated for me anyway if we could do this and then just get together for sex or furniture moving etc. I'm not trying to be sexist. I just find I get on better with women than men, but maybe that is because my women friends are so lovely.

However ....get to the point Ellie..... I recognise that many women are beautiful and love my friends but I don't want to have sex with them or kiss them. I don't think recognising beauty in someones physical looks or character means I am bi. I can just as easily look at a good looking bloke and admire his looks.

Human sexuality is so complex and multi-faceted, there are probably as many variations as there are people in the world. Which makes any prejudice against anyone on the grounds of their sexual orientation seem silly and inhuman. As long as nobody is hurt, what's the problem?

I should add that Derek's performance in the diary room was motivated by attention-seeking, not by any concerns he might have about his sexuality.
