Orlaith has revealed to Big Brother in a Diary Room chat that her favourite Housemate is her eviction night rival, Science.

Despite the rows they've had, he's the one she most respects and sees as "the most genuine person" in the House.

Asked about his state of mind, Orlaith said, "I think he's nervous because I think he feels he's going," she said. I had a chat with him the other night to try to keep it cool and not be as loud. That's when people raise their eyes up, when he starts shouting. Yesterday he was at a nice level."

"Science is a really cool guy and has so much character," she continued. "He has annoyed me but I prefer him to everyone else. The way they've treated Science is pathetic."

Makosi came in for special criticism
Orlaith didn't have much good to say about anyone else, saying she was fed up with everyone and their "two-facedness". Makosi came in for special criticism.

"Makosi has changed," she said. "She's got back with Kemal, which I feel is a silly thing to do. He's spoken about her in the past. He's lied to her. I don't think Makosi is being her true self. It's false."

Derek and Eugene also came in for disapproval, as she sees Derek as being behind the silent treatment meted out to Science. "Derek has his followers. Derek's not happy when people speak to Science. I've seen Eugene follow Derek and do what Derek says, though when Derek's asleep Eugene will speak to Science. When Derek's about, Eugene slags him off."

As much as Orlaith says she wants to go, she reckons "[I'm] 95 percent certain I'm staying."

And we don't have long to find out if she's right.

I don't doubt that she'll be critical of him when he's gone, but I do believe that she likes him more than the other hms

Derek - seems to not like women
Makosi/Kemal - are two faced, so she probably doesn't really trust them
Eugene - bores her
Anthony - not that bad in her eyes, but they've really spoken
Craig - probably the same as Ant, though more bitchy
Science - loud, ott, sometimes overaggresive but he avoids the house politics

Given the speed she turned on her mate Vanessa last week(oh and who can forget how she was asking Saskia for her skirt before she'd even been told she was leaving)...I'll give her 2 minutes to start on him.

This strikes me as a tactical move, remember Science pushing her halfway to a mental breakdown recently? It fits right in with the rather false 'oh thank you' when her nomination was announced. She's noticed the public tend to keep in those who beg to go, the public boo-ing of Makosi and Science, and the kicking out of controvertial characters like Maxwell. Full marks to her for some intelligent game playing, I think she's got an excellent grasp on BB strategy, just like Derek and to a lesser extent Makosi.

I can't work orlaith out and what she actually wants. she let slip a couple of weeks ago she wants to win so is this all a tactical ploy.

But it has to be science to go this week just to throw them all into complete confusion. she will be up again next week and we can get rid of her then.

I seem to remember us saying the same about Vanessa, Craig, and Derek this year...and lots of others in past series. That NEVER works. I've learned from experience that you need to get rid of whoever you want to go the most when you get the oppertunity...otherwise you end up with nightmares like Jade Goody and Alex Dribley for an entire series ::lol::
