Derek has been trying to work out if Orlaith really will walk or if she has secret designs on reaching the final.

"I couldn't hack it," chuckled Orlaith at the very thought, emphasising that she was still considering walking.

"I thought the boys were saying you thought you would be in the final," mused Derek, but the blonde denied she'd ever uttered those words.
As soon as the Irish lass left the room Derek muttered to himself, "She's a silly cow asking stupid questions. To think I'm so naive! Problem is they forget I'm 41. I might as well be 29."

And while Derek was seething to himself, Orlaith had gone to interrogate Anthony and Craig about the rumour that she was aiming for the final.

"I never said that to him," claimed Craig.

"I know I didn't," confirmed Anthony. And together they advised her to ignore Derek.

"He's a weird man... what's he playing at?" mumbled Orlaith. "It's up to me if I want to go. No one is going to force me."

Poor Orlaith, she doesn't know if she's coming or going.

Orlaith in the final

I thought she once said that she would be up every week, but the other person would always be the one to go and that she would end up in the final, so I think that Derek is right and she has lied by saying that she didn't say that.

Gawd, does Derek EVER say anything complimentary about anyone?

No wonder he appears to have zero friends.

I don't think she meant it like that though...she did say it but i thought it was more of a 'god, if i dont go this week i'll make it to the final' complaint than a...'I know i'm gonna be in the final cos i'm great' kinda way.

Orla did say that...but she didn't say it to Derek and asked him where he'd heard it from....Derek said he heard it from the boys. Craig tried to deny saying it - Ant said 'I definitely didn't say it so it must have been you'. I think after this Ant maybe getting a bit wary of Craig, and Craig knows it.

Agree - I don't believe Orla meant it in the way it was reported by Derek.

Makosi told Derek that about ten mins before he confronted orla

Craig is the only one that sees how both makosi kemal and derek are twisting everything and has tried to explain it to ant who dumb as a post as he is keeps saying he dosent want to get involved, but misses the point that he does get involved and minpulated by makosi

Its all very complicated and tedious, they could all just be having fun instead of these nasty vile games that do none of them credit

Orlaith will not walk - she is the biggest wannabee in the house!!

She knows all too well that those who walk disappear through the back door. However, she is desperate to get evicted before the last week.

Orlaith wants her night in front of the cameras, and then her week in the spotlight. Maximum publicity, she believes, will ensure bigger modelling contracts.

The biggest danger for her is to finish in the shake-up on the final night, where her eviction would be merely a side-show with all the attention focussed on the winner.

For this reason alone we should campaign to keep Orlaith in the house!!!

I wish Derek would think on, he has said he would walk, and yet he never has. He seems to be conveniently forgetting this little fact. Has he just said this in the diary room though, then this way, the housemates that are in the house, will never get to know.

If she wants the publicity, then what's the harm with that. I bet there's not just her that has been in the big brother house to boost their career.
