That is so outrageous!

I watched this on the live feed from start to finish. The HMs received extremely clear instructions, which they obeyed, and they even whispered for a lot of the time!! The well-known animal lover, Derek, made sure that they didn't scare it!!

Anyway - they sat calmly around watching the kitten, and mainly waited for it to come up to them, rather than crowding it. Some people just like to complain for the sake of complaining.

I bought a puppy last year, and it was overwhelmed by the family for the first few minutes. It quickly got over its fright. As all baby animals do if you are careful around them. Whatever next???

Exactly rebs, considering how loud they can be they were really gentle and quiet. The wee cat didn't look that scared at all (well not on the highlights anyway), could of guessed there would be complaints though

I don't reckon that these people even watched the programme. They probably just read that a kitten had been on the show, and put two and two together. Coming up with 5 as an answer, of course!! ::lol:: ::lol::

I actually thought it did look scared but I didn't see that pic 'live' so it might have been just getting ready to pounce rather than cowering admittedly. Also without watching it live it's harder to tell if it's got all it's fur standing on end in the pic or is just a really fluffy little kitten!

If a kitten is introduced to a new family then some initial stress is unavoidable but I thought it was a bit wrong to put the kitten through excess stress for a gameshow. Having said that, if Aimee has watched it and isn't shouting very loudly right now then I'm completely reassured! :D

Jezi's right. I was being sarcastic BECAUSE of his fox hunting!!! But he WAS being the animal police with the others when the kitten was in the house!!

Ah right, thought this was in the original story or something. Just thought it was saying that he loved animals, that's all.

Vagabond wrote things like the situation should have been seen: the whole story from the beginning till the end. We had few years ago asituation where contestants in reality tv show had to do as a task a traditional reindeer round-up like lappish people has always done. And of course animal-lovers reacted powerfully. They can't see the wholeness of a certain situation. But they have done lots of good things as well to save the nature and rare animals.
