All are pussycats compared to Nick Bateman. The guy is just sick, holding all the worst traits of society. Lying, decietful, racist, egalitarian, mysoganistic, homophobic, malicious, hurtful. Even to this day I would spit in his face if I saw him on the street. As starlet would saw the man is totally Vile.
Do you mean elitist?
Surely egalitarianism is a worthy belief?
You're spot on about Bateman though. But he is more to be pitied. Derek very much reminds me of him. Both are deeply insecure and put on airs and graces.
True class is natural and is revealed in how you behave towards others and is not to be confused with mannerisms, etiquette and elocution and the need to display empty wisdom to belittle others and show off.
He quoted Wordsworth's "Daffodils", but does he like the poem? Does he understand it?
Reminded me of Jeffrey Archer on an old BBC2 program, he, being as self-serving as ever quoted a piece of poetry about a man's worth and then sneeringly said "Longfellow" to the camera as if he was erudite and the audience were dumb. He said "Longfellow" and the audience went... "Tosser".
Wish I could remember the exact piece he quoted, but the irony, as ever, was delicious. This was before he was sent down.
Derek reminds me of Archer. Another jumped-up pantry boy.
