er selective memory syndrome all BB have been dull in the final few weeks

as much as I LOVE BB3, I distinctly remember some of the boring final week live feeds, which had shots of HMs sound asleep at 5pm!!!

my memory is of many things happenning in the last week and it certainly wasn't unexciting plus the great doubt about who was to win.if they were having a short nap at 5pm maybe that was because they were up until late.
At the moment hardly anyone seems to have any supporters and Anthony is romping home by default.BB2 was a total snorefest in the last few weeks -as was BB5 after Victor left.BB1 wasn't because it was so new but nothing much happenned and it would be considered dull at any other time.

Yes you're right about Ant.And he's really had no competition since Science went.As for previous BBs being dull? They've all had their dull moments specially towards the end when there isnt a great deal to do and not many people to do it..so the camera tends to be focused on the same area.I recall many episodes in all previous shows that have contained nothing other than sleep.Mind you Gos takes the prize for that crown! ::lol::

Derek still has it in for Orlaith, and i'm just waiting to see who he will turn on, when Orlaith has gone. Maybe Anthony will be his next target, or Craig??

Yes, it looks as though Anthony is his next target:-

Quote:
A rogue group of Housemates boasting excellent literacy skills have united to bring an end to bad spelling the world over. They're going to start with Anthony and his C and K confusion.

Hapless Anthony's failure to correctly spell bacon, waffle and pineapple on yesterday's shopping list has caused widespread consternation, not to mention scorn, amongst the stronger spellers in the House.

"His stupidity annoys me," Derek said, wrinkling his nose in distaste. "He is getting on my nerves."

The Housemates recalled yesterday's shopping list when Anthony had spelled bacon with a K and struggled to correctly spell the name of his favourite brand of orange juice.

"He spelt waffle, w-a-f-f-e-l!" Kemal squawked.

Poor spelling is just one entry on a long list of crimes against communication Anthony is accused of. According to Makosi, he also overuses words such as "um" and "like" and is also a terrible storyteller.

Derek thinks Anthony's innate self-importance is to blame. "When you're so consumed all the time thinking about yourself it means you're not absorbing things around you," he mused.

"How can you eat bacon every day and not know how to spell it?" he asked.

"God forbid we ask him to spell 'antidisestablishmentarianism'," Kemal huffed.

We struggled with 'pineapple'...

Ah so Derek is after Ant next week then if Orla goes ... fits my theory that he hates women first and straight men second.

Even super intelligent people like me can bee pooore spellers , though admititadly Ant is as dumb as a post :D

:D the show died when maxwell left love him or hate him he livened up the series. something died when he was voted off. he was the last of the characters that made up the bb5 the rest left were the mediocre and the dull that swhy we are now left with a wish it would all end now senario. pity because last yr bb5 I was saddened when it ended and felt quite nostalgic at the end. This year i shall be glad the painful event is all over.

Well that just confirms what a pompous arrogant piece of scum Del boy is.Spelling ability has nothing to do with intelligence in the slightest. My daughters best friend is profoundly dyslexic and has to cope with ignorance all the time despite being extremely bright.

And HE has the cheek to call others ignorant and stupid.

Science and Maxwell going, has made this just a two-faced bitchfest, they're not even funny in their bitchiness like others before them, its utterly dull, at least those two, love them or hate them said stuff to peoples face, rather then this insidious nastiness

I hated Max BTW, but I wish he was still in there, oddly

Have to say Alix is right. But even if you didnt like Max(and he did some pretty crass things) he was,as was claimed at the time,a REAL threat to Makosi.Suppose none of us foresaw the fact that as the shows gone on its Ant become the most popular simply by being relatively laid back and 'normal' and will win by default.
Yes,the slide started with Maxs eviction and with Science gone its even duller....Del Boy and Makka trying to outbitch each other.Vile

I think it depends on how much you watch.

I just watch the Highlights' shows now. Which leaves me vulnerable to manipulative editing. But it means I miss 23 hours of dross. Last night's highlights were entertaining and cringeworthy.

We want them to be performing whenever we turn on, but that's just not possible. Maybe BB should have a big stick that descends from the ceiling and pokes them when they are being boring. Like rattling a hamster's cage if their sleeping (I'm kidding!!). Or their mikes should have mini-phasers attached to electrocute them when they are boring or when they misbehave.

I turn on E4 sometimes but soon switch over to another channel or switch of completely to do something more interesting. I just can't waste time watching these self-absorbed dullards. I have a mirror I can use for free if I need that. ;)

That paint in my bathroom is drying nicely...

Well thats the point Alan, it has not been interesting for E4 watchers, but maybe we shouldn't be so sad
