Well, I'd find it very hard to be sympathtic if you were watching a post-watershed programme thart starts with a prominent warning message about it's contents with your children.

I assume you were ten times as outraged by Sugar Rush, which followed Big Brother, and featured a rape, a stabbing and underage lesbian sex? Or is that entertainment?

I'm not saying thats ok to insult someones culture....it might not have occurred to her thats all

I didn't know that. I was assuming that her father would have witnessed these antics and had to face his friends and family afterwards. As my ex is Muslim I know only too well the pressures that the children of the family face and how bad it is to shame the family, that's why I was so shocked. I have to say that her parents must still be ashamed tho and I hope that it doesn't get any worse...

Kinga is the name of a Polish saint.

Princess of Poland and Franciscan tertiary. She was a niece of St. Elizabeth of Hungary and a great niece of St. Redwig. Sometimes called Cunegunde, Zinga, or Kioga, she was married to Prince Boleslaus of Poland. Kinga founded a monastery at Sandez.

Erm...sorry..but I agree with HC....BB is marketed for all ages and in the summer hols kids will have access to all day E4 and stay up for 9pm shows maybe 10.My eldest is 14 and thankfully is mature enough to cope. But shes repulsed as I am by the shenanigans. The majority of text voters are 13-21...BB need to be care ful that they keep that audience,,,,,,and give them the service becoming of their youth

If anyone was offended by Kinga's actions tonight, here is something you can do: -

Turn the television over. Use your remote control or that button on the front of the telly box. Or just get over it.

Does that work with wars, the homeless and the starving?

Not having a go at you Bunny, but all of us, myself most of all. I do know better. And I should do better.

A religous anonym, its true this I typed Kinga and wine in Google :D

Quote:
About wine sent from heaven

At the time when the blessed Kinga stayed in the said castle,1 she could not obtain wine to strengthen herself because of the Tartar threat, and since she did not like any other beverage, she drank, quite rarely, wine diluted with water. And when on account of those dangers there was no wine at all, a local man faithful to the blessed Kinga offered to walk many miles through the wilderness to Hungary to bring wine. He was just about ready to set off on this journey, when suddenly two men of comely looks appeared, carrying a jug of longed-for wine, which they offered to the sisters.
The sisters accepted the jug and took it with joy to their abbess, but they did not ask those men who they were and where they came from. The blessed lady told them to look for the men, but they could not be found anywhere. There is no doubt that Christ sent this wine, because Kinga, the servant of God, sacrificed herself together with the virgins, in the words of her own confession: "Only my Lord Jesus Christ cares for me in such a great need."

Clearly she was diluting the wine with water of sort, god moves in mysterious ways {@}

You cant dilute wine with salt/anchovy paste

Oh God Oh God Oh God! Am I getting old and prudish but how is it legal to let a teenager get out of her head on drink and shame herslelf like that and just air it for public entertainment? The show will be over in a couple of weeks but that silly little girl will have to live with that reputation for much longer. I thought they had psychological screening for the BB contestants?

My Sky Plus of tonight's show failed for some reason. Do you think they will repeat the show as normal at 7:45 in the morning as usual? :D

Some people are just desperate for fame.

Unfortunately she's more likely to obtain infamy by her actions.

I reckon she's a good kid, really - she should just try being herself.

She is actually quite sweet I think. But she was out of control and someone needed to step in and stop her, sadly nobody did. She has screwed up her reputation and Endemol did nothing to protect her from herself. She's not very bright but they should have known better.
