What tv ratings would you predict the final night show would get?

Well according to the Media Guardian, this years show, in terms of percentage, is waaaaay down compared to last years show. Whilst in the final week this year the show is averaging around 4 million, which is still good mind you for C4, last year it was topping 5-6 million, with Stuarts surprise eviction getting almost 8 million viewers. Apparently on a few occasions this year the viewing percentage was lower then that of BB4!

Although C4 can pin-point, if they like, the ratings down to the competition from itv1 e.g. Celeb Love Island etc and the tragic terrorist attack, they can't solely blame these events for the downturn surely? I solely blame the fall in viewers down to the selection of vile housemates they have and the BAD choices the public have made when it came down to evictions. But alas you can't turn back the hands of time and change things.

So I would say the final night ratings will be 7.5 million, which is about the same as what BB4 got in the final night. Which is still good for C4 but waaaaay lower on last years rating of nearly 9.5 million.

I would guess 5.3 million

However i would sugest that both
the voting levels are lower this year
and the live feed viewing pulling in less watchers

BB simply isnt putting the money into getting the HMs doing task, challanges etc and when they do the HMs cant be bothered to do them or dont even have the sense to read the rules.

Fir example today, the HMs are so obviously bored and ionactive and that same boredom is also causeing people not to bother watching.

Seems that once endemol have their 29mins highlights in the can all they can do is give the HMs some cheap plonk and go home.

Hmm, I would think if they can manage 8 million on final night C4/Endemol should count themselves fortunate.

Of course, in terms of votes cast...it will depend on how the housemates are booted...

if it ends up with Anthony vs. Eugene...who will bother to vote? If however, it was Anthony vs Makosi, you can sure as hell bet that many people would make the effort to vote against Makosi.

I would hope it'll be at least fun to watch.

I personally think the tasks this year have been crap.

Big Brother doesn't seem to have any authority over housemates this year, Makosi and Derek seem to have been the only ones that have had the housemates wrapped around their little finger. In past years it was BB who had the upper hand.

Next year they really need to get the balance right, and I hope the eviction choices next year are justified, unlike this years.

I think the Wednesday show would get a high ratings mainly due to the fact that the new LOST show is on that night sandwiched between two BB shows.

Yes, indeed.

*lost is repeated after Saturday night Day'78 9pm Highlights show.
**with a BBLB special to end off on Sunday.

Cal: not lost...well, not in the conventional sense.
