I think they say if you don't want to be hypnotised, or are trying to fight it, then the process of trying to hypnotise you won't have any effect on you.

Today the Housemates have a new task. They will be pretending they have been put under the spell of hypnotist Melvin the Magnificent.

Each of the group will be called into the Diary Room to be hypnotised. But when inside they will all be told they are on a secret mission to convince everyone they are in a trance.

All of them will be given a different trigger phrase, which they must react to whenever Melvin mutters the magic words.

They must keep up this charade until they hear the word 'sleep'. If the entire group manages to fool each other, they will be rewarded later this evening.

Come back soon to see the Housemates feeling sleepy, very sleepy...

Makosi is such a cow though, right now she's saying she doesnt care about getting the group rewards as she got them all things yesterday but she got nothing.

She talks so much crap ..... she will probably start crying an refuse to go in or go in and come out crying ...

And i think we should start calling Makosi whats her face as thats her way of insulting fellow HMs like she just did then :-?

Anthony became the first Housemate to take part in the hypnotism task and he was delighted to hear he was on a secret mission.

"Ding dong!" said the tiny dancer.

Big Brother told him that he must convince the other Housemates that he has been hypnotised. His trigger words were 'Hot Stuff' and when he hears Melvin the Magnificent say the trigger, he must switch to his hypnotised character.

"You will think you're in a local nightclub. Suddenly everyone around you is incredibly beautiful. So beautiful that you fancy them all," Big Brother told him.

Anthony must use his best chat up lines and hottest dance movers to entice as many Housemates as possible into kissing.

"What a craic. This is going to be mint," said Anthony.

Anthony left the Diary Room to questions from Craig and Kinga. He told them he couldn't talk about it.

"Does it work though?" asked Craig.

"Can you remember what you said?" asked Kinga.

It was as if they were hypnotised to forget that Anthony just told them he couldn't talk about it.

Craig has finally been given the secret mission he craves. However he is unaware that all the other Housemates are doing the same thing.

"Oh my God! Yes! What does that mean?" he said when Big Brother told him of his covert operation.

Big Brother informed him he must convince everyone he's hypnotised and that his trigger words would be 'birthday suit'.

When he hears Melvin say those words he will think he is stark naked at a family wedding in January. He will believe the other Housemates are important guests and, despite his nudity, he must maintain his dignity.

"It's really hard," said Craig. "But exciting."

Craig came out and claimed he was told to imagine he was in a dark place, alone and suggested Melvin was "evil".
