Okay this might get confusing as hell, so bare with me guys please. :(

Now after this years mess, and I seriously consider this year’s show to be a mess, I have come up with an idea that could make the show feel fresh again and unpredictable. Well that is the theory. Now let me first hint at what my idea could be, we all remember the divide right? Well what about if ONE side came back? Get it yet? No, well never mind I’ll explain. :D

In the first week of Big Brother 7, the contestants will be treated to a life of total and utter luxury. Although they still cannot have any contact with the outside world, Big Brother will let them run freely in the house to do as they will, as long as they still obey the basic Big Brother rules. During the first week Big Brother will set up a theme party every night in the house, e.g. a cow boy themed party on the second night etc. The housemates will obviously think that they are living the life of luxury and will probably think they have got their game-plan in the bag! Although some of the more BB aware housemates will definitely feel uneasy about this ‘pleasant’ Big Brother. However, Big Brother is about to throw a bomb shell on them during the following Saturday night that will shatter any chances of them thinking that they know how to play the game. Have you ever heard the expression; "mother nature is beautiful, but also harsh", well the housemates are about to realise this in the most unsympathetic way.

During that Saturday night the housemates will be expecting Big Brother to set them their first Saturday night task, but they will be surprised as the big guy will provide the housemates with a small bag and BB will tell them to pack some essential clothing that they may need to survive within the next 7 days or longer. By now the housemates will probably be thinking that the divide is making a comeback, but how can it be coming back when the floor-plan of the house wouldn’t allow such a divide? Once that is done BB will then tell them to head off to the garden where there is a secret door, they should enter the secret room and stay there until further notice! The problem is that there is nothing in the room, no chairs, and no beds not anything; it is just a plain bright white room with a toilet in full view of everyone and an old sink. What could this mean?

After about an hour and a half or so BB will notify them there are now free to enter the ‘Garden of Eden’. But to the housemates will have been found speechless as they discover the garden has been turned into a camp area! Yes a camp area! The pool has been totally bared up and the doors to the house have been locked. For the next TWO weeks the housemates will have to live outside in the garden area and live on basic rations supplied by the gardens huge vegetable patch. They will have to cook on a BBQ and use the outside sink to wash the dishes; the outside sink will only supply water at Big Brothers discretion, only then will the housemates be able to wash the dishes, so someone will have to keep a look out on the sink to see when it has water running. And as you would have probably guessed, they will also have to use the outside shower, which not only gives out cold water, but also runs only 3 times within the day, and also they will have to use a manual outside toilet, all pretty nasty you will agree. The garden will have 12 'IACGMOOH' style beds in one area, and that’s where the housemates will have to sleep. Entry to the diary room will be through a secret passage from the garden (the passage will still have cameras in it, obviously).

But, Big Brother will play fair with the housemates because they will have a chance to WIN each room within the house, yes every two nights the housemates will have to work TOGETHER to win their house back bit by bit. But even now I can hear some of you cry “this is not enough, the housemates won’t take the task seriously and work together”, but what about if their future winnings are at stake? Yes for as they entered the house and gladly and blindly took Big Brothers luxury with open arms, each luxury cost them £10,000 each, so now they have no winnings. However the Big Brother house is an expensive house and each room in the house has a worth in CASH. So if they pass a particular task to win let say the bedroom then that will earn them back £15,000 to go into their prize fund and they will have their bedroom back. But if they lose then they will lose the ROOM (yes they will lose the room) and the £15,000 FOREVER. So do you now understand how the Saturday night tasks will work, everything is at stake here guys, literally! So this is how much each room will earn them:

Bedroom= £15,000
Kitchen and Dinning= so since it is a double room it will earn them double £30,000
Toilet= since Big Brother is cruel and knows that the toilet is more then a luxury it will also cost double, £30,000
Sitting room= £15,000

So that will leave them with ninety grand if my calculations are correct. But how they will earn that extra ten grand, well for the weeks after the ‘Garden’ period they will be given another batch of Saturday night tasks that will earn them each time a few hundred pounds that will, if they successfully complete them all, earn them the rest of the money that will add up to £100,000.

However, the nightly tasks will not be the only tasks the housemates will compete in. The weekly tasks are also back, but with a difference. Although the weekly tasks will be solely about working in a team to gain the weekly shopping, the person who Big Brother deems to be the best team player during the weekly task, who did not ONCE break the rules of the task, will be given immunity from being nominated the following week. So therefore the housemates will have no choice but to do the best they can within the task because more is at stake then a shopping budget. But during the ‘Garden of Eden’ period, the weekly tasks reward will be for individual housemates only since they will not have any shopping budget. Instead their reward will be, for the one person who does well within the task, they will be given luxuries, like a key to unlock the fence around the pool and have a dip in it for the whole week, to gain hot water for the whole week or to get a specially prepared dinner every night for a week.

So there you have it, this is my idea. Obviously there are a few flaws in it such as they would need to build the house especially for the Garden idea with each bit of the house being relatively separate. But the true essence of my idea is that the theme of the show is truly about survival, nothing more and nothing less. This year we have been complaining that no one deserves such a big prize like £100,000 because they haven’t earned it, well with this plan they will have deserved it because they would have earned it big style through sweat and brow.

P.s. When it rains the white room will be open for them to go inside, if it rains at night they will sleep in there! So no they won't catch a cold that easily lol.

There would be no space for those whose game plan it is just to be quiet and do NOTHING around the house ala Anthony, because they would have no choice but to help in and do something because they would be forced to do it. There would be no time to bitch 24/7 a day because they would all be in each others all the time, they would have to work with each other, whether they like it or not. I have done this so that the true essence of this reality show is grounded within it, and that is TO SURVIVE, that is what Big Brother is all about; to survive in a house with a bunch of people you don’t know and try to win a prize. Nothing more and nothing less.

Right, okay, I’m ready for the onslaught of “This is a **** idea, just put in a bunch of Maxwell and chavs and there you will have entertainment”, to which I would reply, “Haven’t you been watching Big Brother 6”.
;)

I don't think BB6 has been a mess at all. I've enjoyed it. Not the best one ever but way better than BB4, BB1 and even BB2.

As for your suggestions, I did love the rich/poor divide of BB3. I was one of the few who did.

I think that most viewers would find this a turn-off. It would get old very quickly. But then the normal format of BB can get stale (self-obsessed people sitting in a room talking bollox.)

I don't know if what you suggest would work. I think HMs would probably rebel or walk out, but then I'm basing that on what I would do.

But then even some of the mild tasks of any BB would make me walk out. I'm not a performing chimp, well except on these boards.

I value my dignity too much to go on BB, now pass the bananas.

I'm all for it, but I think the drop out rate would be at least 40% !

Its a fine idea, and I like the idea of them buying rooms back, but only having the garden, and the empty room would limit the coverage a great deal. Hmm. It could work for 2 weeks maybe.

All ideas are good ideas though. You never know, C4/Endemol might steal/modify it for next summer.

Cal: not employed by C4/Endemol

I love it; I love the idea of 'buying' back a room.

I don't think your idea really gives much room for the variety, no seriously, of emotions and behaviour that are necessary both for the viewers and the housemates.

You have good ideas lala in theory, but in practice, I think, they wouldn't work.

Four weeks of HMs camping in a garden? HMs need to get away from each other, and have a change of scene and mood. I don't think it would be psychologically and eventually physically safe to confine them too much.

Plus the tasks would be restricted. It could soon degenerate from a boring Boy Scout adventure camp into Deliverance or Lord of the Flies.

Wait a minute, it's a f^cking GREAT IDEA!!! ;)

You might have noticed i have limited the 'Garden of Eden' to two weeks, I take Cals point that it would limit the coverage with just the garden being shown.

Too harsh. I hated the divide, worst idea of any BB ever, so anything like that on a grander scale would have me switching off immediately. Plus, people don't tend to like seeing other people put through too much hardship on telly - makes for depressing viewing.

I think the producers of big brother are looking for things that will aggravate the housemates. Things that will make the housemates think that big brother isn't playing fair at all. When the housemates think that big brother isn't playing fair with them, this is when the frustration starts setting in, and then the housemate/s start getting angry. They need to be unfair with one housemates while being overly generous with another, thus causing an argument between the two. Just something like this.

Thus reward one housemate with luxuries while the others live on basic rations. ;)

You must have hated the 'evil' of BB5 then. And IAACGMOOH.

I loved the divide, as did lots of people. I also disagree that viewers don't like seeing people put through hardships - Natalie Appleton anyone!!!!!!. That made for fantastic viewing

the idea that the group would be forced to bond is a good one. I never thought PJ & Spencer would get on with Alex but they did.

that said lala's idea is a bit overelablorate, maybe they should just bring back a rich/poor divide

It hasn't been better than BB2.
