Eugene does not need anyone try and discredit him; he is doing a great job doing it himself. He doesn't speak his mind, I actually think when he called Kinga an idiot last night he forgot he his talking out loud. He rattles out inane shite that no one other then himself wants to hear. He spends his day/night making snidey remarks about his fellow housemate’s manners, weight intelligence. He is a snob and will not even try and make and make friends in the house. IMO, he befriended Derek and Science because he was scared shitless of them and he could hide behind their arrogance and aggression. He loved bitching with Derek and only spoke to Science to keep him on-side; but we have not seen him try and use Makosi the same way because he knows she will cop on and wipe the floor with him.
He is not only snidey, he is also a coward, imo.

Makosi could wipe the floor with him maybe, but she'd class that as cleaning and is too lazy to bother.

Oooh, but she did clean out a bin the other day. Big whoop.

Would be really nice if he was speaking the truth, but I think Craig is right when he says Eugene is snidey.

Kinga took her find out to the pool. Eugene moved her wine to the other side of the room and muttered under his breath, "Stupid bitch."

He hasn't got the nerve to confront people with his real opinion about them. He is starting to feel the stress of being 2 faced and snidey and I hope before friday he shows the viewers who are under the impression he is mister nice guy, the real snidey little f***** he is.

::lol:: ::lol:: ::lol::

I don't know if he is snidey. He could well be, no-one is a Saint, not even the canonised ones of antiquity! I think that may explain why Eugene got on so well with Derek. I think Eugene is also a Tory but is too smart to admit it on BB. ;)

Although of course everyone can be snidey, not just Tories. But they do major in it along with heartlessness and fear of equality. ;)

If Craig said that about Eugene, then maybe he is right, it takes one to know one. But then Craig still thinks Ant is gay will be his one day.

Alan Lapin: Always says "thank you" and frequently says "f_ck off", but usually not to the same person. (F.off is my natural reaction to Tories.)

A good day for me today - at last, harmony in the workplace. Anyone who watches BB agrees it'd be good if Eugene won.

(Incidentally, I was reminded how during BB1, someone in my work sent an 'all users' mail message - to 7000 people, advising as to how they could vote for Anna to win. Poor person suffered severe reprimand. But back in those days, finding a number to call to vote from Ireland necessitated clandestine meetings in dark alleys - we'd no E4, no computers, no nothing..)

I can't help but feel people are desperately searching for reasons to make Eugene out to be the devil just because he's the only one in with a chance of beating their beloved Anthony, who is far from perfect himself. I hope Eugene does win if it'll annoy everyone that much.

LONDON - Uber geek and ham radio fan is the new favourite to win the sixth series of 'Big Brother', having overtaken dim-witted Geordie dancer Anthony.

Ladbrokes has slashed the odds on Eugene winning 'Big Brother' from 4/1 last Friday to odds-on at 8/11. He overtakes Anthony, who drifts to evens from 2/7.

The bookmaker said that punters had been rushing to back the self-declared virgin and Terry Wogan fan Eugene.

Ladbrokes spokesman Warren Lush said: "The money has been pouring in for Eugene to win and he's now the odds-on favourite to triumph. Bookies have underestimated the cult following of the loveable geek."

"At the end of last week, Anthony had it won in our eyes but his bust-up with Craig has seen his popularity fall away dramatically."

Eugene had been seen as a rank outsider when he entered the show six weeks ago with Orlaith and Kinga. The three lived in the secret garden before Makosi chose Eugene and Orlaith to enter the 'Big Brother' house proper.

Kinga was kicked out but re-introduced when Belfast model Orlaith walked out of the house just over a week ago and promptly appeared on The Sun's Page 3.

Eugene has seen his odds rise after bonding with gay Tory speechwriter Derek, who lost out in Friday night's eviction when he left the house.

Before going, Derek congratulated Eugene for winning the public vote, saying: "Well done, I'm so very proud of you."

The housemates are due to face a surprise eviction this week, before the show's finale on Friday when it will be down to three. Kinga is the favourite housemate to be booted out first. Her odds of winning are 50/1.

Last week, she sparked hundreds of complaints to the watchdog Ofcom after simulating a sex act with a wine bottle.

He stood as a Labour Councillor in Crawley and his Mum is an active labour member too..so unless he's switched parties in the last few weeks he's not a Tory.

Can I just say...

Eugene to WIN!!!

Always liked the lad, thoroughly entertaining, a raconteur of the highest quality, a fine upstanding young man, stimulating conversationalist and the greatest sex symbol this country has ever produced.

Erm. Are we talking new or old Labour? I used to be in the Labour Party but left when Blair and Mandelson made their move.

But I can see now that the Labour Party has always been infiltrated by arseholes.

The day Ramshackle Mac went to the Palace to form the first Labour Government was the day the Labour Party lost all credibility as a progressive party.
