Enjoy The Silence

As his fellow Housemates have been having a good old bitch, Eugene has been silently sunbathing, speaking only to make a comment about lightbulbs three hours ago.

Fortunately, he was in a slightly more chatty mood when he came to the Diary Room to discuss his inner feelings with Big Brother.

"I'm pleased I've got this far and that I haven't been thrown out," Eugene beemed, settling into the Diary Room chair.

He also claimed to be "shocked and surprised" to have made it this far.

The Crawley lad then admitted that winning Big Brother would be "good" from a financial and psychological perspective.

"I think it would give me more self-confidence," he said. "I've always thought that people find me irritating, annoying and self-centred."

The cheerful chap said that the whole experience had taught him to be more "self-assertive", and shown him that sometimes people need their own space.

Surely there's space enough in the House for five Housemates? Then again, maybe not...

Oh Gawd, not another winner looking for 'acceptance'!!!

It's a game show not a therapy course. Nadia should NEVER have won last year.

If Nadia had been born a woman, would she have won? NO! If she had stayed a man and entered BB, would she have won? NO!

She was an amalgamation of Marco and Emma, and they both irritated and were ejected early.

Craig is another who has stated he has come on the show to be 'accepted' or discover themselves. Kemal too.

What is in their heads? You do not go on national television to 'find' yourself!!!

What a really warped world where people not only look to TV for answers but think going on TV will solve their problems!!!

Well, the £100,000 winners cheque would solve quite a few problems, but you know what I mean. (Which is more than I do!)

At least vote for Ant or Makosi, they have been very honest in their naked ambition to win for winning's sake.

It's a game show, an entertainment not a social work experiment.

And certainly not a therapy course for Eugene to find out he has Asperger's.

Nothing wrong with saying it'd give him more self confidence, he could use some, the rest of them have more than their fair share.
Actually, the rest of them put together would have enough self confidence and egotism for a small country.

That is what I was trying to say on another thread, that he is very self centred.

Even if that is true, still less than Anthony, Craig or Makosi by a long long way.

I think he is self-centred, but I see it more as a result of his lack of social skills and general awkwardness rather than the 'I think I'm brilliant' attitude that Makosi has. I think he finds it genuinely difficult to connect with people like the remaining hms. I think he sees that they all think he is a boring prat and so he tries his best to be interesting. He may at times be irritating, annoying and self-centred but so are most people at times, and imo he is a gentleman, which goes a long way to make him endearing. Also he isn't always self-centred. When Makosi was in the cage, he was worried that by rejecting the cakes and rescuing her, he would end up getting her evicted or the other hms punished. He so desperately wanted to do the right thing and I admire that.

But Ant is a gentleman too.

Anything good to be said of Eugene can also be said of Ant.

The thing is, Ant offers more! Much more than Eugene, if less than Makosi or even Craig.

Really, this idiocy to elect Eugene the winner is worse than American Elections!!!

Are you Eugene supporters really saying, BB6 - the Year of Eugene!! I'll remember the orange sofas longer than I will Eugene! And they are less maleable and doormat-ty than that twittering twerp.

(At least in British elections we get to bloody their noses before they go back to ruining the country and world.)

I'd like it if they could share the prize - as it is, I'm worried about how poor Eug will cope with coming out and facing Davina.. :-?

Gentleman? On a number of occasions Anthony has seemed like a pervert who acts like he's never seen a naked woman before or even been intimate with one by contantly asking pervy questions in a highly ungentlemanly way.

Fact is, none of them really deserve to win, but the reasons most Anthony fans offer for him to win is that 'he iz fit' and that he's put up with Craig. When has not beating up someone been a good reason to win? 'BB6 - the year the dozy Geordie who isn't Jonny Regan won' isn't much of a statement either.

Better to feel tits than be one.

Eugene is so dull, he probably hasn't even found his OWN genitals yet.

Notice I only have to say 'Eugene' and anyone KNOWS he doesn't deserve to win. He has done nothing.

But in your condemnation of Ant, you refer to his relationship with Craig.

Eugen cannot relate to anyone in there, a plant would wilt if he spoke to it.

"I'm a bit more developed than a plant Eugene, would you like to talk to uz like?"
"No thank you."

I'm not sure that all that feeling women's boobs is the kind of gentlemanly behaviour that I like, but I do that that Anthony has handled Craig's behaviour with admirable restraint and I wouldn't be disappointed if Anthony won either. I remember on BB4, finding Cameron very dull (sorry Cameron) and not thinking he was a deserving winner, but when Nadia won last year, I realised that I much preferred a nice person to win, than an obnoxious one and realised that Cameron winning wasn't such a bad thing after all.
Therefore as long as they are the final two I will be happy. Who would you like to win alan?

Doesn't that depend on the gentleman? ;)

If they are offered up, he's going to feel them isn't he, it's hardly a crime. Mr Manners, Derek, felt up Kinga's.

I cannot stand her, but I am almost finding myself wanting Makosi to win. She is despicable, she is back-stabber, a conceited ass, self-obsessed, sh!t-stirring cry-baby fake, a bitch, a conniver, a liar, a passive bully, and someone who thinks life (pregnancy/abortion) is a light matter.

And because she provokes such reactions in me, and has been central to so many major plots in there, she actually DESERVES to win. She has been the undoubted star of this series as Jade was of BB3. (That should get Rince up out of his coffin.) She has always been playing the game, brilliantly and often badly.

Really, come next Monday, I won't care who wins, but for the last 3 series I have been SICKENED by who has won. And no, I didn't want Jason to win, and I didn't want Jonny to win.

Ant would be easiest to accept. Eugene the hardest. He 'seems' a nice lad, but really, c'mon, as I said, are we happy to say BB6 is "The Year of Eugene"?

Nadia did very little last year bar become a screaming harridan when she couldn't get cigarettes, but she at least had the balls to stand up to Jason, and in her quieter moments was interesting.

Eugene is just ar$e-achingly dull and cringeworthy. It's not funny, not even as a surreal, parallel world, fantasy to elect the Drip as this year's winner.

Are people really exorcising thier own inner-nerd by voting for him? Are are they just washing the nerdiness off themselves? Are people diminshing the sting of geekdom by validating the ultimate nerd?

Fine. But you have ruined BB. I hope you are all happy. ;)

Ah yes Anthhhhhhony, what a gentleman ...
"who can wet themselves first?" competitions with Muckswill, pissing out of the loft window, playing on Craig's weaknesses, taking advantage of drunk Makosi in the pool, perving after Orlaith like a dog on heat.
If he's a gentleman, give me a yob any day.
