What if Eugene wins it? He will have guaranteed himself to be a financial winner either way! And if he doesn't win it, he has lessened the winners eventual reward.

I don't blame Eugen for taking the money, but lets not spin a positive light on it.

I really thought Eugene was going to turn it down! So convinced....I was very surprised that he didnt....but his reasoning was good.

Does anyone else think that was a bit of an anticlimax for Endemol? ie because it was Eugene everyone else was sympathetic when he came out (well sympathetic on the surface anyway?)

what would the reaction have been if anyone else had done that?

I don't think I could either and I'm very surprised at Eugene tbh. I still think he owes them nothing. None of them deserve the money imo. Might as well split it.

Easy for Makosi to say she wouldn't have taken the mone, Jezi.... when she heard the prize money would go up to £200,000 - I think she's more interested in winning..and all that would entail than the dosh.
