What annoys me is that yes, it's fair to Eugene, more than fair, he gets half the money that he doesn't deserve.
He doesn't deserve a single penny from his time in that house, he has been a TERRIBLE HM. He should never have entered, he has brought very little to the house. If a plumber had come in during week 5, for an hour to fix the showers, then they would be more deserving because they would have actually contributed something!
If BB had said to Eugene, "you can choose to split the prize so that 1st and 2nd place in the vote each get £50k, or each of you now gets £20k", then perhaps that is fair.
What irks me is that Eugene took the money and hoped to run. He knows full well he doesn't deserve to win. I wish the voting public would too.
I would think it fair now if BB calls all HMs (except Eugene) into the DR tomorrow , before the first eviction and asks them would they now like to take Eugene's £50k and leave immediately?
And no Bunny, I am not being sanctimonious, morality nned have no connection to religion. A person's value code can exist independently of any believe in deities. It might be argued that people who don't believe in an after-life are more sincere because they do not believe their actions will be rewarded. Or punished! Yipee!!!
I am not a Christian, you hot cross Bunny. I am not religious at all. But I am very moral (based upon my own personalised ideas of what is 'wrong' and 'right'). If you'd read what I said I was not claiming my superiority to anyone, only that I am different, and that I think Eugene is wrong. He's a stinker. That doesn't make me sanctimonious. Look up the definition of the word.
People do wrong things all the time, doesn't make me better than them. Lord knows, (and being non-religious, he may not exist) I've done many, many wrong things.
Starting this stupid thread was one of them!
