Makosi is excited because Davina pronounced her name correctly - it's supposed to be Mak-co-sea, not Mak-co-zi.

(I can sympathise, as my name is almost universally mis-pronounced by British people.)

Unfortunately, when I'm not being gerbilgranny, I share a name with a certain 'dreary' character from Coronation Street.

Makosi just said her magic knickers are amazing - they stick everything in.

Kinga might like to borrow them sometime...(oops, last day giddiness from Not the Weatherfield One).

hehe, Gerbilgranny..

If you're meaning the dreary woman with the specs...

there are several ways of saying your name...

Care to write it phonetically for us?

Well, I pronounce it Dear dra... (never Deerdree, or even worse - Deedree!), but the posher (and probably more correct) version is Der-dreh.
