hehe, Gerbilgranny..
If you're meaning the dreary woman with the specs...
there are several ways of saying your name...
Care to write it phonetically for us?
Well, I pronounce it Dear dra... (never Deerdree, or even worse - Deedree!), but the posher (and probably more correct) version is Der-dreh.
Hehe, thanks!!
I know someone who says *Der-dreh*.
I probably say Deer-dray most often. That's how us Northerners tend to say it. But I like to say people's names the way they say them if I can. I shorten my name to Jo, because I can only bear the way the Irish and Scots say it. Or Geordies, I think... The posh English way, and the American way are truly dreadful.
Catriona is another one of those names. I've a friend who goes mental if you say Katrina for that. And Niamh is another one. Some say Neeve, and others more like Ni-av. Funny old thing, names.
I've been calling Tekosi *Mak-oh-sea* so I feel all virtuous now! hehe.
