hehe, scotslass!!

I'll be on my own humanly speaking. Red wine will be opened, but I don't know if I'll bother with popcorn or crisps...

The reason being that my non human companion - my dog, Barney - gives me not one second of peace when I'm eating them. I've been known to drop prawn crackers, and crisps on the floor, and my wee popcorn maker fires bits onto the floor too. And Barney is a willing hoover....

So although he's technically not allowed human food, he thinks these snacks are exceptions. It's deadly.

Might manage some cheese or chocolate, though!!

::lol:: ::lol::

I'm just loving the chance to talk with Irish people. I never realised so many of us on here were Irish I tend to assume that most peeps on here are Scottish. I'm a (lapsed) Catholic but I am vehemently opposed to causing problems where it's not needed. Feel the love in the room! Seriously tho. We had enough trouble as my dad is in the British army and he's from Dublin, my mum is from Mayo. If that doesn't turn you against racism then nothing will. :D

Too right, gerbilgranny.

Erm.... What are you planning to eat/drink tonight while watching the final?

And does the gerbil get let out of his cage as a special treat?

Haven't a clue re food/drink. Not too much alcohol, as it's a depressant, and the end of BB is sad enough already!

Funny you should ask about 'the gerbil' - we have 5 (4 girls share 3 cages, and 1 boy is left on his own in 2 other cages). Pinky, the boy, has successfully escaped 5 times in the past two days. Have just had to put him back in. There's a hole in the plastic 'cage' he sleeps in - have covered it up with very very heavy items, but his ardour for the girls is such that he has phenomenal strength and energy)

(Edited for gross spelling/grammatical error!)

LOL - Molly - Barney is a dote, hehe!!

I think you can talk about the baby as long as you mention the BB finals night!!

And I love that there are so many Irish people on here too!!

GG - what a star Pinky seems to be!!

Anyway... back on topic.
*coughs*.

I get all teary eyed like some other people here when the echoes happen at the end of BB too. It's really hard to cope with not seeing these people every day, when you've got so involved with them.

Last year didn't they play 'I hope you've had the time of your life' at the end of BB - tears all around from Gerbilmommy and myself... :-(

In fact, on the first night of this BB, was at an 'end of year' celebration at Gerbilmommy's Youth Club, and they sang that song there. Tears all around again.. :-(

Funny, this year, the song that will most remind me of this BB series will be Ghetto Gospel - even though it's never been played in the house. I just love that song - gives me shivers.. :-?

lol, Adrian.

You'd better be quick, though - cos the ex-housemates don't really get much show!! In fact, I often wonder why they bother bringing them back!! ::lol:: ::lol::

*veers off topic again to mention that her dog loves watching tv, and now knows which adverts feature animals by the tune*.

Hehe - he's just gone mad at a cat advert. My tv is on a bracket up high, and he was on the floor dozing!!

Earlier he came in from another room barking his top off because the Direct Line insurance advert was on. It wasn't the one with the two dogs swallowing toys this time, but he obviously recognised the jingle!!

That's the trouble with the Big Brother day time coverage. The adverts are all about pets or insurance!!
