Has anyone seen the film "The Ruling Class"?

It's the one where Peter O'Toole thinks he's Jesus Christ.

It has two funny scenes that are relevant to this thread.

There is a fox-huting scene that ridicules the oafs on horseback and culminates with a (stuffed) fox lifting it's leg to urinate (funnier seen than described).

And the scene at the end in the House of Lords with the old idiots turning into skeletons, still in their ermine robes and wigs, all done to the tune of "Dem Bones".

It's not a great film, but it is very odd and occassionally funny. Look out for Arthur Lowe as a Communist butler in the service of O'Toole's toff.

I only found out that he'd died relatively recently. I met him in Rock City about a year beforehand and he was pleasant but not really in control. I used to meet a few of the 'Seattle guys' bcz I played bass guitar in a couple of really poo (no not false modesty - actually they sometimes had talent but l certainly didn't! I'm rubbish! Not being modest being honest!) I could barely play a note) Skate punk and Funk Metal bands. I know what sounds good but I don't have any ability to do it myself I just used to 'kerrang' away and occasionally date a guy that would impress me by being good on the guitar and quite intellectual and philanthropic towards fluffy animals...
