Big Brother supergeek Eugene Sully may be £50,000 richer but he won't be chasing the girls and plans to live with his parents.

Eugene, 28, from Pound Hill, Crawley, said his head hadn't been turned by the money or fame.

Adjusting to life outside the house, he told The Argus: "The kind of girls I hang around with are slightly geeky, slightly tecchie people so if they are fine with that then that's fine. It's the friendship I'm into, not the relationship side of it.

"I'm not going in for sex at the moment but given the right girl then maybe.

"I have lots of friends in lots of places and I have a few female friends. When I find the right girl, and I've got to know her quite well, then something might happen.

Needless to say the amateur radio buff, who admits he is still a virgin, wants a girl who presses the right buttons. He said: "I want someone on the same wavelength, that's what I'd like. There were a few times when Kinga tried it on but I didn't want to make a fool of myself because I am quite good in that way.

"My favourite person in the house was Vanessa. She had a lovely personality and had very good looks. She was a fantastic person."

Asked what his friends at the Crawley amateur radio club will think of his stardom, he replied: "They'll think I'm a bit weird but I'm happy with that. I think my friends will be overjoyed by the fact that I've got to be possibly the most well-known person on TV for doing Morse code.

On Wednesday night Eugene was offered the £50,000 on a take it or leave it basis. He was not told if he left it the overall prize money would have been increased to £200,000.

Looking back on his time in the house, Eugene said: "I thought I might have some regrets but I've thoroughly enjoyed it and it's one of the best things I've ever done."

Eugene has barely had time to speak to his family since leaving the house but they have been bombarded with calls from the media.

His brother Greg, 29, said: " I have had 700 calls on my mobile phone in the past three days. I haven't even been able to check my answerphone. We're giving up doing the press for Eugene because it's just too stressful."

Eugene is appearing on Top of the Pops at 7pm tonight on BBC2 as a guest presenter and will be interviewed by programme host Fern Cotton.

Good on Eugene if it doesn't then. I personally don't see why fame should change you, and there's always one thing to remember, if you ever lost your fame and fortune, and you had treat your friends snobbily. You'd be in a bit of a pickle then, wouldn't you.

I caught the end of TOTPs and was surprised to see Eugene there, good on him! Well done mate!

Clearly he hasn't even the slightest bit of perceptual clarity about what his fellow housemates were like. It would not surprise me if he soon starts touting Makosi as having been unjustly booed.

Living with his parents at 26, sums him up really.
Nice guy, but not haft as funny as he likes to believe he is.

Oi Calrissian, leave Eugene alone, there is nothing wrong with living with parents, I can't afford to buy a house right now and I have plenty of other friends who are in the same position! He's still young.

I agree with that, it used to be sad...but these days the avergae age people move out is 27 and it's not that odd to still be living at home when you are 30+

I suppose fame will change you if you are trying to aim for something, but if you are just wanting to make money, then i don't see why it should. I can guarantee that fame wouldn't change me. Not that i will ever come across fame though. Anyway, lets just see if it does then.

Thank you Starlet, in this day and age, plus there was a thing on the news about it not too long ago, how it is the norm, and how people who have left home, still come back to live at home for various different reasons.

Sorry, but it so won't. Not everyone is the same. The snobby thing doesn't appeal to me at all, the money yes, loads of people getting excited to see me, might be an ego boost. What's the point in being snobby, you will only have people turning against you anyway if your going to be like that. People might let fame change them if they want to be a "star", i don't particularly want to be a "star", just being well off will do me. I'm quite happy living roughly just the same way as i'm living now. To tell you the truth, i'm not quite sure i could handle walking into a station or anywhere with people rushing towards me. Not that i would refuse autographs, not in my nature to be snobby, sorry to dissapoint you

Youre not reading what i actuallyy put properlly. Ididnt say it would make him snooby atsll i said it will change him. Of corse its gonna bloody change him, his lifes changed, and when your life change you change. Hes gonna be reconised all the time and got the money. Im not saying hes gonna suddenly turn nasty or snobby but its goona change him. End of.
