Big Brother 6 is shaping up as the most vicious Big Brother ever. The two opposing teams now hate each another with a passion. After Jennifer broke her word and nominated Kaysar, Howie declares “It’s hurricane season.” Hurrricane Howie says his main objective is he wants to rip “The Friendship” apart psychologically and mentally. When April tries to claim she has the better life outside the house, Howie replies “Yeah, you’re stuck with your fat hubby and your ugly dog. I’m so jealous honey.” April sobs in the bathroom “Please lord, please do not let him get to me. It was horrible what he was saying about my family. That’s just not nice at all.”

'Big Brother 6' evicts Kaysar Ridha (again), reveals surprise double eviction to houseguests

RTV World
By Steve Rogers, 08/19/2005

One week after American television viewers voted Kaysar Ridha back into the Big Brother 6 house, his fellow houseguests voted the 25-year-old graphic designer out of the house for a second time during last night's live broadcast of the CBS reality series.

Kaysar had been nominated for eviction by Jennifer Vasquez, Big Brother 6's sixth Head of Household. As last week's final two Head of Household competitors, Kaysar and Jennifer had agreed to a deal in which Kaysar would let Jennifer win the competition in return for Jennifer promising to carry out a "backdoor" eviction of James Rhine, the houseguest deemed untrustworthy by both of the house's competing factions.

Jennifer promised to use two members of her own "Friendship" alliance as the week's initial "pawn" nominees, however after becoming HoH she instead nominated Janelle Pierzina and Rachel Plencner (two members of Kaysar's own "Sovereign" alliance") for eviction. Then, after Rachel won the Power of Veto competition and took herself off the chopping block, Jennifer shocked Kaysar and his "Sovereign" allies by instead nominating him to take Rachel's place. With his fate sealed, Kaysar was evicted from the Big Brother 6 house via an unanimous 7-0 vote

After Kaysar's eviction, houseguests participated in the "Face the Facts" competition that determined Big Brother 6's next Head of Household. After a potentially controversial tiebreaking question in which Janelle appeared to initially display an answer that she later changed, Janelle was crowned Big Brother 6's seventh Head of Household.

Following her win, Big Brother host Julie Chen immediately called Janelle into the house's private diary room and informed her that as part of the season's latest surprise twist, she would have to immediately nominate two houseguests for eviction. After a few minutes of private thought, Janelle was called back into the living room and, once Julie informed the other houseguests of the twist, nominated Jennifer and Maggie -- the two former HoH's who were responsible for Kaysar's two evictions -- live on air.

CBS will broadcast this week's second eviction as part Big Brother 6's broadcast on Saturday, August 20. After their eviction, the surprise second evictee will become the first member

The Big Brother 6 live feeds on the Real Network are currently being blocked, and rumors are running rampant among Big Brother fans. Reality TV Magazine contacted CBS and received the following official statement, “BIG BROTHER 6 24/7 is temporarily unavailable so that certain competitive results are not revealed in advance of Saturday's broadcast. BIG BROTHER 6 24/7 will resume Saturday, August 20 at 9pm PT/12am ET.”

Real Network also has a statement in their customer support section that says “CBS has blacked out feeds until Saturday evening’s TV broadcast (9pm PT /12am ET) in order to avoid revealing the secret plot and spoiling any surprises for viewers of the TV show.” It’s interesting to note that CBS points to certain competitive results while Real Network makes mention of a secret plot. Could there be a secret twist happening beyond just the normal competitive events?

While CBS often blocks the feeds for short periods of time to keep certain parts of the competition secret, it is very unusual for CBS to block the feeds for this long a period of time. This unusual move by CBS has many Big Brother fans wondering what exactly is going on in the house that is so secret. Big Brother 6 live feed watchers usually learn competitive results before an episode airs, so it would be surprising for CBS to block the feeds for that reason alone.

Some possible theories include that perhaps Kaysar is being given a chance to re-enter the game or that the Head of Household competition is being redone because of a controversy surrounding Janelle’s victory. Some rumors have even suggested there has been a fight in the house leading to the removal of one or more houseguests.

On Reality BBQ and Jokers Updates, many fans are upset over this disruption in the live feeds. Reality BBQ has a phone number posted that live feed viewers can call to complain. Fans are expecting that there must be some huge twist for CBS to risk upsetting all the live feed subscribers with this move.

During Thursday night’s show, there was no mention made of there being a special event that would block the live feeds. In fact, a commercial was run reminding viewers to sign up for the live feeds. The sudden announcement that the live feeds were blocked raises the question of if something unexpected happened. Perhaps, CBS was initially just blocking the feeds temporarily but something major went down that led them to decide to block the feeds until the next show aired. Considering how nasty things have gotten in the Big Brother house lately it would not be surprising if a houseguest walked out voluntarily or an argument got physical and led to a forced eviction.

Despite a blackout placed on the ‘Big Brother’ 24/7 live Internet feeds, the identity of the second eviction victim might have slipped out.

Due to an intentional or accidental slip-up by the producers, the blackout on the ‘Big Brother’ feeds was reportedly lifted for less than a minute or so on Friday night. Viewers saw The Disciples Alliance consoling each other. Jennifer Vasquez, the 27-year-old arena football dancer, was nowhere to be seen on the feeds. It is assumed that Jennifer has been voted out of the house.

CBS announced on Friday that the live 24/7 feeds from the 'Big Brother' house were being blocked until the conclusion of tomorrow night's episode.

"BIG BROTHER 6 24/7 is temporarily unavailable so that certain competitive results are not revealed in advance of Saturday's broadcast. BIG BROTHER 6 24/7 will resume Saturday, August 20 at 9pm PT/12am ET," read a statement from CBS on the matter.

At present, all of the 24/7 Internet feeds are displaying audio and video from the fish tank in the house with the message "Big Brother 6 will be right back!". This is the standard feed viewers receive when the producers don't wish to air competitions, copyrighted material or slanderous statements made by the HouseGuests.

Each time viewers logon to the feeds, there is a statement by the producers saying that they reserve the right to halt the feeds at any time to preserve the integrity of the show

On the RealNetworks login site, there is also message warning fans that the feeds are temporarily not available.

"It's the Summer of Secrets and even live feed subscribers aren't immune to some CBS secrets. Until we return to action, sit back, sip a drink, listen to the fish tank, and catch up on highlights from the house in the BB6 archive," reads the statement.

Reaction from fans has been swift with some fans voicing their displeasure.

"Everyone here should NOT WATCH tomorrow's broadcast in protest. This is a despicable move to boost ratings that has alienated the true fans," wrote 'reverendmediocre' on JokersUpdates.com.

"I guess we can all leave our feeds of the FISH now instead of waiting around for nothing. Boy, that sucks...big time," wrote 'lean' on the same site.

Others took the situation in stride joking about holding their own endurance competition until the life feeds return.

"Everybody relax! Spend time with family! Read a book! Go out to dinner! Have fun with being surprised on Saturday night," wrote Winston Smith on JokersUpdates.com.

Before the live feeds were thrown to the fish tank on Friday afternoon, the HouseGuests were preparing for the Veto Competition, the eviction of another HouseGuest and a Head of Household Challenge all in the same day. The eviction twist will see two HouseGuests evicted this week and two Heads of Household crowned. Janelle won the first Head of Household Competition on Thursday night's broadcast and Kaysar Ridha, the 24-year-old graphics designer whom viewers voted back into the game last week, was sent packing for a second time.

By JOHN POWELL -- JAM! Showbiz

What goes around, comes around in the 'Big Brother 6' house.

Jennifer Vasquez, the 27-year-old arena football league dancer, who greased the wheels for America's Choice poll winner Kaysar Ridha to be evicted last Thursday, was herself booted from the game on tonight's special edition of 'Big Brother 6'. Jennifer was evicted by a vote of 5 to 1 with only her partner in the game, April Lewis, casting a ballot to save her.

As the bitter civil war in the house continues between The Outcasts (Janelle, Rachel and Howie) and The Disciples (Maggie, Beau, April, Jennifer and Ivette) alliances, Jennifer's walk of shame was a sweet victory for The Outcasts who wanted to pay her back for breaking her word and not back-dooring James Rhine last week.

This week's first Head of Household, Janelle, made doubly sure Jennifer would be the first person on the 'Big Brother 6' jury by winning the Power of Veto, saving Maggie Ausburn and then nominating Ivette Corredero in her place. With James and Beau (Ivette's game partner) guaranteed not to vote for Ivette, The Outcasts had the numbers to send Jennifer off to the 'Big Brother' sequester house.

As expected, Jennifer was not shocked by the turn of events. Speaking to host Julie Chen, Jennifer described herself as a "martyr" for her team.

"Being HOH you have a huge target on your back the next week. Even if you do end up evicting the person that you wanted gone their group is going to go after you," said Jennifer.

Although Jennifer understood she was being targeted by The Outcasts Alliance for evicting Kaysar and that Janelle was one of Kaysar's best friends in the house, she claimed not to have done anything to Janelle on a personal level.

Despite the producers issuing a temporary blackout on the 24/7 live Internet feeds from the 'Big Brother' house to protect the happenings on Saturday night's broadcast, Jennifer's eviction was common knowledge amongst fans when the feeds mysterious returned for approximately less than a minute on Friday night. During that time, Jennifer was nowhere to be seen.

As per the double eviction twist announced last week, a second Head of Household competition was held. It was The Disciples' Beau Beasley who claimed the title after besting the others in an elimination-buzz-in-your-answer trivia challenge revolving around items found in the 'Big Brother' house. Beau's nominations for eviction and the Power of Veto competition will air on Tuesday's broadcast of 'Big Brother 6'. When the 24/7 live Internet feeds returned on Sunday morning, feed watchers learned that Rachel and Howie have been nominated by Beau.

After casting 4.1 million votes to send Kaysar Ridha back into the Big Brother 6 house, many fans were disappointed to see Kaysar get evicted again, thus losing for good his chance at the Big Brother prize.

One fan decided to do something about it, and started a website at TeamKaysar.com to raise money for Kaysar and his team.

Reality TV Magazine recently interviewed the webmaster behind TeamKaysar.com to get more information on his website and what he's trying to accomplish.

Veto and Eviction #7 in the same week as eviction #6 and we already have another new Head of Household. Man, that was quick.

I always feel sorry for the outgoing HoH in these situations, because s/he gets the short stay in the HoH room. I felt even more sorry for Janelle, as the entire "Friendship" continued to show their complete lack of good sportsmanship by refusing to visit her new HoH room for its unveiling. I mean, has that ever happened before? Would Cappy approve of this behavior? Maggie seems to think so, as she just sort of blinked when James pointed out to the whole group that nobody refuses visiting the HoH room. Sure, Howie and Janelle had been calling them "bitches" all week (although Rachel snapped at Howie and it seemed to lessen), but rise above, right? Isn't that the "Friendship" way?

No, the "Friendship" way is April and Jennifer hiding behind some chairs, whispering and justifying their plans to try to turn on Maggie and Ivette by convincing themselves that Maggie and Ivette were already turning on them. What evidence did they have? Ivette's hanging out with James. Yeah. Uh-huh.

More, along with all the juice after the jump...The veto competition was hockey-themed, and Janelle represented for her Minnesota roots by winning the veto. James tried to play both sides of the fence this week, and I'd say he did a pretty good job. He suggested that Janelle use the veto to pull Maggie off and put Ivette up, as this would ensure getting Jennifer out of the house, because his vote and Beau's vote would both go to keep Ivette in. Janelle suggested putting April up instead, but Rachel snapped at her and everything played out according to James's plan. Ivette went up and Jennifer went out with April's lone vote trying to keep her around.

Rachel and James are clearly running things on that side of the house right now (which is funny considering how James isn't even supposed to be part of that group anymore), while no one is really running things on the other.

Jennifer had a little chat with Julie Chen, where she continued to paint herself as a non-backstabber and a game-player, claiming that she knew she was going to be out this week, and that the choices she made last week were because she was sacrificing herself for her team. Well, then she's a fool. Why are these people in this game if they're not in it to win it? I mean, 3 months of your life GONE. Bye-bye. And Jennifer's special bonus: anyone in real life who saw her backstabbing behavior in the house might start having doubts about trusting her.

The HoH competition involved questions, so Howie was out pretty quickly. James and Beau were the last two standing for the tie-breaker, and Beau won, so we've flipped power back over to that group yet again. My guess for nominations next time: Janelle and Howie. What's your guess?

Falling victim to the week's surprise double eviction, Jennifer Vasquez was voted out of CBS' Big Brother 6 less than 48 hours after her Head of Household reign that had resulted in the eviction of America's Choice returnee Kaysar Ridha had ended.
Jennifer, along with Maggie Ausburn, had been nominated for eviction Janelle Pierzina, Big Brother 6's newly crowned Head of Household, during Thursday's live broadcast in which host Julie Chen had informed the houseguests of the double eviction twist.

After winning the Power of Veto competition, Janelle decided to remove Maggie from the chopping block and replace her with Ivette Corredero -- a move that she felt would ensure that James Rhine and Beau Beasley, Ivette's two closest allies, would vote to evict Jennifer.

Sometime on Friday, Jennifer was evicted from the Big Brother 6 house via a 5-1 vote (with only April Lewis, her now not-so secret partner, voting for her to remain.) Since, unlike all of the Big Brother 6's previous evictions, Jennifer's eviction wasn't broadcast live, the move resulted in the show's live Internet feeds being blocked until the eviction aired as part of CBS's pre-taped Saturday night Big Brother 6 broadcast.

Once Jennifer was evicted, the competition to determine the show's eighth Head Of Household was held. At the end of the ten question "On The House" quiz competition, Beau and James were tied for first place with two correct answers each. Buzzing in first, Beau correctly answered the tiebreaker question, making him the Head Of Household for the first time.

What is going on in the Big Brother 6 house? Last week, the houseguests were at each other’s throats. Howie was talking about eating April’s dog. Janelle and Beau were getting into shoving matches. Janelle gave Jennifer the finger. It was beautiful and great viewing fun for the whole family.

The Tuesday episode of Big Brother is mostly filler, and, if you keep up with the live feeds, you already know what's going to happen. In this case, Beau nominated Rachel & Howie, James won the veto and didn't use it. In all likelihood, Rachel will be evicted on Thursday.

What's funny about this episode is how it reveals what the CBS editors think of the players. Clearly, they don't like Ivette, Beau, April & Maggie. They showed Ivette in the Diary Room bitching about how nasty Rachel was and what a bad sport she was about her nomination. Cut to Rachel, calmly laughing about her nomination. The nerve!

Then, we have Ivette calling the 33-year old Rachel an "old hag". Cut to Rachel playing for the veto in a bikini. For an old hag, let's just say that Rachel has a spectacular body.

But that's not all. We got to see the "Fiendship's" (Ivette, et all) creepy shrine to Cappy. And, we were treated to Janelle calling Beau out on national television as a "male prostitute posing as a personal shopper". Wow. I think this show is intriguing and hilarious, but I certainly hope people aren't letting their kids watch it.

So anyway, Thursday we'll say goodbye to Rachel and hopefully Janelle or Howie will pull through and win the Head of Household competition. If one of the Fiendship wins, I'll be hard pressed to keep watching.

I don't like these episodes where they try to cram what would normally be placed into two separate shows into one. Last time felt much too 'clippy' and tonight's episode just felt slightly rushed. Anyway, as you may recall, Beau is HoH this week, and there was a fabulous little diary room scene where he flexed his upturned collar as he proclaimed himself HoH. Very nice.

The entire "Friendship" ran into the food pantry to celebrate and conspire after the win. Ivette was jumping up and down flipping out about the win, while Maggie tried to calm her down. I was surprised to hear that one of the first things out of Beau's mouth was a very calm, steady, and determined: "I want to put up Howie and Rachel." I was close to certain that he would put Janelle up due to the fight they had had the week before when he was drunk.

Maggie tried to persuade Beau to nominate James, and even exclaimed "James!" when James' key emerged from the nomination box unscathed. Beau stuck to his initial plan and nominated Howie and Rachel. Rachel puzzles me, because she normally acts rather classy, avoiding the Howie and Janelle taunting antics and being more or less civil to everyone in the house, but the last time she was nominated she burst into tears, and this time she went a bit on the attack, all the while claiming that she really didn't want to be in the competition and the only reason she came was for Howie. Yeah, uh-huh. I'm sure you're not interested in that money at all. Also, did anyone get Beau's you are grey, you are black, you are white speech to Rachel? Ivette and the team were all like "You spoke so well, Beau," but I honestly didn't know where the hell he was going with that whole thing.

We also had a shrinking table this week and everyone commented on how weird it is for the table to shrink, because they feel sorry about those who are gone but good and proud that they've made it this far. Way to back-stab, everybody!

Non sequitur: I hate April. She annoys me to no end.

The veto competition was a swimming one where people had to untie floating things with the HouseGuests' pics on them from the pool, run over to two tall tubes, and drop each HouseGuest next to their partner. James continued the non-stop veto competition domination, although he only beat Janelle's time by 4 seconds. James elected not to use the veto, so going into eviction night, either Howie or Rachel are out. Who do you think will be gone on Thursday?

It's that time of year again. Every summer for the past six years, CBS has aired its Big Brother series. Big Brother started in the Netherlands and became a huge hit. Keeping with the American tradition meant U.S. networks ripping the show off. It wasn't just America this time: Big Brother has editions in four countries and more are reportedly on the way.

Rachel Plencner has bid happy trails to the 'Big Brother' house. The 33-year-old horse breeder from Colorado was sent packing by a unanimous vote on the live eviction show last night.

With Rachel becoming the second person on the 'Big Brother 6' jury and April winning the Head of Household title, it looks more and more like the last shots in the civil war in the 'Big Brother' house will be fired by The Disciples Alliance unless the remaining Outcasts (Howie and Janelle) can pull off a string of HOH victories or April decides to target James.

Everything started to unravel for The Outcasts several weeks ago when Rachel's partner in the game - Howie Gordon - made one of the dumbest plays in 'Big Brother' history as HOH by nominating two of his own alliance members for eviction based on his unfounded mistrust of them. Rachel acknowledged the crucial error in her post-eviction chat with host Julie Chen.

"I truly believe I am sitting here because Howie nominated James and Sarah. I truly believe that," said Rachel. "I think it just changed the whole game."

Rachel was also at a loss to describe Howie's behaviour in the house over the last couple of weeks. Recognizing that she was the least emotionally stable personality in The Disciples Alliance, Howie had begun to target April with verbal onslaughts by insulting her family and her inability to win competitions at every opportunity. Howie has since abandoned the strategy.

"I don't know how to explain Howie's behaviour. He was very unhappy. He took it very personally and I think he was just expressing himself. I don't have an answer for it," Rachel told Chen also saying that in spending time with Howie in the house she has learned how truly giving and caring he can be.

While everyone else has positive goodbye messages for Rachel, Ivette Corredero lashed out at Rachel in her's.

"Your behaviour in this house is out of control. You have left me speechless with my mouth dropped. I have never seen such poor sportsmanship like that carried by yourself," Ivette told Rachel in her videotaped statement.

"I don't know what happened with Ivette," Rachel responded after viewing the footage. "Ivette may have some issues and quite frankly I wouldn't be surprised to see her very soon."

April won the Head of Household title by edging out Janelle in the finals of another in a long line of HOH challenges involving trivia questions about the 'Big Brother' house and the game. In their tiebreaker, both Janelle and April wrote their answers on one-sided chalkboards. Controversy had erupted during the last tiebreaker challenge when Janelle flip-flopped her answers on a two-sided marker board.

With Rachel gone, Beau and Ivette are the only original secret partnership left standing in the 'Big Brother' house. If Beau and Ivette become the final two, they are in contention for the special one million dollar prize for making it to the end as a pair.

April's nominations for eviction as well the America's Choice winner for a phone call from home will air on next Tuesday's episode. Viewers can text message their votes in at a price or vote on the official 'Big Brother 6' Web site.

Big Brother 6 was touted as the Summer of Secrets, but it has become the Summer that Fizzled.

After a promising start, the ship has sailed on what at one time looked like it was going to be the best Big Brother ever.

In the early days (or the Cappy Days as The Friendship calls them) of Big Brother 6, an explosive confrontation between Eric Littmann and Michael Donnellan had all Big Brother fans buzzing.

Rachel Plencner becomes the eighth 'Big Brother 6' houseguest to be evicted

Becoming the latest victim of the ongoing battle between Big Brother 6's two deeply divided factions, Rachel Plencner was voted out of the Big Brother house during last night's live broadcast of the CBS reality series.

Rachel, a 33-year-old horse breeder from Parker, Colorado, had been nominated for eviction by Beau Beasley, Big Brother 6's eighth Head of Household. Beau, a member of the competition's increasingly dominant "Friendship" alliance, had nominated Rachel because she was perceived to be the strongest player among the three remaining "Sovereign" alliance members. Recognizing that they were, along with his own partner Ivette Corredero, the only other pair still competing in the competition, Beau had also nominated Howie Gordon, Rachel's partner, for eviction.

Although alliance outcast James Rhine won the week's subsequent Power Of Veto competition for a fifth time, he did not to use his veto power. Realizing that remaining "Sovereign" member Janelle Pierzina would simply replace whichever nominee he saved, James opted to keep nominations as they were, leaving both Rachel and Howie on the chopping block.

Rachel was evicted unanimously from the house, with James, Janelle, Ivette, Maggie Ausburn, and April Lewis all casting their eviction votes live during Thursday's broadcast.

Once Rachel was evicted and interviewed by Big Brother host Julie Chen, the remaining houseguests competed in Big Brother 6's ninth Head of Household competition, a trivia challenge in which the six eligible households (as outgoing HoH, Beau was not eligible to compete) had to determine whether the actual numerical answer to a question was higher or lower than the number suggested by Julie.

After the first question resulted in the elimination of half of the houseguests, only James, April, and Janelle remained in the running to be the next Head of Household. Although James was later eliminated, the competition ended with both Janelle and April still competing, resulting in a tiebreaker question in which the women had to guess as to how many hockey pucks were used in the previous week's Power of Veto competition. Despite some initial indecision that evoked memories of Janelle's tiebreaking victory in last Thursday's live Head Of Household competition, April eventually wrote down 100 as her answer, a number that was closer to the actual figure than Janelle's answer of 85, making April Big Brother 6's Head of Household for the first time.
