When the lights go out, the bustling city of Manchester unveils its darker side. Join us this weekend in what will surely be the most spine-chilling three-night investigation to date.

Derek, Yvette and the Most Haunted crew face a night in an old asylum, once used to house the mentally infirm, and explore an eerie museum where paranormal phenomena abounds. The team will also return to a place where some claim to have had their most frightening experience!

I was watching the hours worth of webcam straight after last nights show. One thing that worried me, other than the fact I was watching it, was the amount of people texting in and getting confused between someone poncing about with a torch in a doorway with ords and ghostly figures.

Still good fun though, lol

hi Piper ..... that last hour section of MH is simply a cynical way of getting money via texts from the gullable IMO ...

Well MH is the most successful cable channel program ever so who can blame them, they for once did capture some orbs last night, but as you say, sometimes as there are about a hundred crew shuffling around you can never tell whats really going on

Hi Blagman

The static didn't help much when it came to judging things either. But the curious thing about the static was how infrequent it was on all four cams. That little curiosity can be anything, electric, magnatic or spiritual interference.

But as a way of making money Yvette Fielding must be raking it in now that they're showing it on FTN at the same time.

Hvae to say I recorded the webcams for a work colleague direct off the satellite at 1 degrees west.
I'm currently monitoring an inclided orbit satellite at 20 Degrees west where the both the Studio feed and the Outside Broadcast feed was reported. The studio feed I think is there as there is a 4:2:2 HDTV signal in the listed frequency which I can't decode a picture from.
The OB signal hasn't appeared yet though the signal level from the satellite is slowly increasing which means it'll hopefully soon be on the arc.
What time does the show go live ?
The webcams went off air around 1am this morning.
I haven't watched a single show but my colleague now has a very complete set of recordings of the show.

Sounds like you've seen my garden :)
You wouldn't have liked it here the other night with the overhead storm !
We suspect we had static discharge between the aerials. EG lights did strange things ,PC reset etc at two almighty flashes when off outside. Thing in no of the neighbours had their lights go out !
Been saying for years that I should add some lightening discharge thingies in the cables ,this time almost got struck twice :(

Yes I've seen a couple of tree blown apart.
Last year the Methodist Church had part of the stone work blown off by a direct hit. My mother was in the High Street not far from it when the strike happened and she said she won't want to witness that again.

Our house and garden are covered with different types of aerials. The closest with any visible effect was the dead grass around the base of one of the masts after a storm. We have been very lucky over the years considering all the metal work in the air.

Back on topic I'm recording the Webcams via Satellite again for my colleague.
I'm not a disbeliever of the paranormal just of this program though I thought I did see a light (orb ?) last night. I haven't played the dvd back yet to check.
I'd love them to spend the night or two in the old Manor House in town ,it's very earry and some parts are cold even in summer. I haven't stayed over night in the main house but I have in one of the attached parts. Basically house is dived into 3 parts ,main house with servants quarters on top floor ,Lower Manor and Upper manor. My late Gran used to by cleaner housekeeper so lived in Lower Manor.
There is definitely something about the place.

What fasinates me is that just before a lightening strike feelers come up from the earth, potentialy from your head and the bolt choses the path of least resistance its a fasinating subject.

re the web cams, eben in broadband link i`m not sure how useful a tool they are for ghost hunting

I'd they are almost useless for ghost hunting ,in fact they are quite comical at times.

Trouble is TV s not conducive to ghost hunting....the whole ethos(as in every belief sysstem)..is believing it,feeling it and living it....TV constrains it cos of its need to produce instant gratification :-? What a world we live in where we cant explore ideas without outside pressure :-? :-? :-?
