After watching the last Most Haunted Live I learned hat Derek was leaving after their live Haloween show. Anyone else disappointed with this like I am?

Actually, does anyone know if he's going to get his own show?

He so deserves it. Wether I believe in his "gifts" or not, I find this man hugely entertaining

When you say entertaining, do you mean blackboard scrapingly irritating?

Even that nice Yvetter doesnt seem to get on with him. And she sells kiddies toy buses so she must be ok.

I actually havent ever watched Most Haunted. This is because I saw Mr Acorah at "work" on Psychic Live on Living, and he presented as the most patronising smarmy bunch of bumgrapes I have ever had the misfortune to clap eyes on. I'm sure theres something to appreciate about him, but I can't get over my Acorahphobia.

He's not on my list of "people who make me proud to come from Merseyside", thats for sure.

Lol, the fact that Derek, IMHO is a fake, doesn't make him any less irritating. The entertainment in him is that he's trying to convince us he's for real.

And as for him and Yvette not getting on well, have you noticed how insulting he gets when he's pretending to be "possesed" towards her?

Just because he comes from Merseyside shouldn't let you have a downer for coming from the same area. Bugger, I'm ashamed to be British everytime I see an old episode of Bread on Sky. Count yourself lucky he isn't nicking someones tyres, now that would be something worth disliking him for

heehee. Bread was dreadful wasnt it. But I loved Billy. And Grandad.

I'm an admin on another site and we (en famille) went over to see the head honcho for a visit back in January. We had about a ten minute walk from our hotel to his & his girlfriends house, and on the way we found a hubcap. We were so delighted that we took it with us and gave it to them as a gift. He particularly appreciated the fact that it was oily, I think.

I think HSBC must have been in the area, they have all the best local knowledge.

I havent watched a most haunted purely because I'd seen him on Psychic live and some tat on Granada tv in the afternoons a few years back where he did a live psychic phone in and he made me grind my teeth into stumps.

I might have to watch one now, just so I can appreciate him from an alternative standpoint.
