Who would have thought that there would come a time when Ivette wouldn't be my least favorite houseguest? Not I. But watching tonight I realized that April and Maggie are far, far worse than she is. Ivette has potential while Maggie and April are already nasty hags.

And, even though I love Janelle, I think she was wrong about Ivette's girlfriend. She's not that ugly. She's kinda cute and she seems nice and smart and she definitely has a good head on her shoulders. In short, I think she's exactly the type of woman Ivette needs.

Okay, enough about that and on to the good stuff. While I was hoping that Ivette would betray the Friendsheep and cast her tie breaking vote to evict April, she didn't. So, our dear Howie was sent packing instead. Goodbye Howie. I'll look for you in some soft core porn in the future.

An eviction occurred. I will save all that nitty gritty for after the jump, and forgive me if I'm a bit off my usual game on this post: I'm trying to type this up as I watch the episode of The O.C. that I recorded.

So, in the lead-up to the momentous eviction, we saw much soul-searching by Ivette about whether it would make more sense to evict April or Howie. We also got to see April musing on why she would hope that Ivette wouldn't evict her. April's voice makes my ears bleed. Another added bonus: Ivette's mom and girlfriend talked about Ivette. I was happy to hear that Ivette's girlfriend really likes Janelle as a HouseGuest (but I wonder if the interview was before or after Janelle called her ugly last week).

We also got a peak into the Jury house to see James's arrival (complete with him flipping Rachel and Jen the bird). The three of them sat watching the tape from the previous week and were fighting back and forth with rude comments directed both at one another and at the remaining HouseGuests in the game. Very childish behavior going on in the Jury house, but then Beau came in and everyone smiled and seemed actually happy to see him. I was disappointed there was no tape from Beau's few days.

The eviction vote came up in a tie, and Ivette weighed in with the tiebreaker, giving Howie the boot. *sigh* I had really hoped the strategy would out-weigh the friendship and we'd be seeing April's annoyingly grating personality running out the door weeping. Alas, pour Howie, we knew him well. One thing that was nice, was Howie asking Julie Chen if her husband was as attractive as he was when he came out. That Howie is pretty full of himself. Everyone had nice things to say about Howie.

On to the HoH competition which was a game of before or after. I was overjoyed that Janelle won and secured her place in the final 3. Maggie game in last. So, one of the Friendship is out next week. I hope Janelle wins. Who do you think she'll put up? My wife thinks Maggie and Ivette. I think April and Ivette. Thoughts?

By JOHN POWELL -- JAM! Showbiz

The Force was with Janelle. Outnumbered as the last remaining member of The Outcasts Alliance, Janelle Pierzina, the 25-year-old cocktail waitress, won the Head of Household title on the live eviction broadcast and guaranteed herself a spot in the final three.

In a before or after trivia competition regarding events in the 'Big Brother' house, Janelle beat Disciples Alliance members Maggie Ausburn and April Lewis by answering every single question correctly.

"I did it, Howie! I'm in the final three!," Janelle screamed as she celebrated. Howie, the resident Jedi Master of the 'Big Brother' house and Janelle's alliance partner was voted out earlier in the evening when Head of Household - Ivette Corredero - broke a tie vote. Maggie had voted against Howie staying and Janelle cast her ballot to keep him in the game.

"Howie, you brought me so many laughs in this house. You have great friends in this house and you have done so much but unfortunately, I have to evict you," said Ivette as she cast her vote.

During his chat with host Julie Chen on the Couch of Shame, Howie admitted that he made one of the biggest strategic mistakes in 'Big Brother' history when he nominated Outcast Alliance members Sarah and James for eviction during his first reign as Head of Household.

"At one point, you had a strong alliance of six. What happened?," Chen asked.

"James. I thought I had a solid alliance with the Soverign Six. Whether James and Sarah were coming after me or not, I couldn't take a shot at James blindsiding me. I felt it was the move to go after him and it went downhill from there," Howie replied.

Howie gave credit to The Disciples for beating him in the game and compared their victory to the film 'Revenge of The Nerds'.

"We always said they weren't as smart as us. They weren't as physically competitive as we were. I am here and they are still in there. Yeah, I got beat by a Nerd Herd but you all saw the movie. It is coming true again. They played a better game than me and that is why I am here now," said Howie claiming that Janelle is the best overall competitor left in the house and would win the entire game.

Janelle's nominations for eviction will be broadcast on Saturday's episode which airs at a special time of 10:00 p.m. EDT. As per another America's Choice vote, the remaining HouseGuests will also find out at that time who will get to leave the house for a day and visit the set of the 'Two and a Half Men' CBS television show. With the debut of 'Survivor Guatemala' next week, 'Big Brother' will hold its eviction show on Tuesday instead of Thursday.

The houseguests reminisce about Howie Gordon, and April Lewis reveals that she feels like she is “the girl version of Howie.” Maggie Ausburn hopes that the game doesn’t turn ugly (as if it hasn’t already).
April looks forward to sex with her husband and shares a story about having sex in a phone booth in a club (more info than we wanted to know).
For strategic reasons, Janelle Pierzina makes nice with “The Friendship” and even invites them to spend the night in the head of household room. “The Friendship” passes on her invite though because it wouldn’t work into their schedule.

Of course, the real reason that “The Friendship” don’t sleep in the head of household room is because then they couldn’t stay up all night and talk bad about Janelle. They also wouldn’t be able to pat each other on the back and talk about how what they’ve accomplished is “groundbreaking.”

Watching the houseguests make nice is so boring that the CBS commercial for “Two And A Half Men” is actually a welcome break. Then the show gets interesting as “The Friendship” gets another wakeup call about their popularity when it is revealed that Janelle has won America’s Choice again. Janelle gets to leave in a limo to visit the set of “Two And A Half Men.”

As “The Friendship” sits around talking about Janelle’s win, CBS puts together some hilarious editing. Ivette says “You’re going to tell me that America doesn’t love a nurse from Las Vegas that has been dating the same guy for seven years, who’s a firefighter. You’re going to tell me that America doesn’t love the country girl from Texas.” April then replies to Ivette, “And then there’s you. I mean how could you not love you? Everything about you is lovable.”

April also says “I have never said that I hated anybody in this house,” and CBS plays footage of April talking about hating people in the house. Ivette also says “If you’re going to believe TV, then that makes you just a **** person,” and CBS plays footage of Ivette’s girlfriend saying “I do like Janelle.”

In one hilarious segment, April seems to forget that the whole concept behind Big Brother is that they are in a house being taped 24/7. April starts off saying “How can America like a girl…Are you taping this?” Maggie interrupts and reminds April, “Yes, they are always taping us, so be careful of what you say.”

After spending an inordinate amount of time talking about Janelle, “The Friendship” then claims that they don’t care about her winning everything. April says “We’re just concerned about our families having to take up for us being good people, because apparently we look like big, fat ****.”

Janelle returns from visiting “Two And A Half Men” and shows off a shirt that was autographed for her by the cast. “The Friendship” appear to be happy for Janelle, but they are actually foaming at the mouth with jealousy.

In a strategic move, Janelle makes it appear to Ivette and Maggie that she might have a deal with April. Janelle and April compare plastic surgery jobs and poke each other’s breasts. Janelle only calls April up to the head of household room to discuss strategy. Ivette and Maggie can barely contain themselves while April is alone with Janelle for forty minutes. April tells Janelle that she will vote off Ivette, but then she denies to “The Friendship” having talked about who she would vote off. In the nomination ceremony, Janelle nominates Ivette and Maggie for eviction.

Janelle has won every America's Choice (of the ones that were catered for non-evicted HouseGuests), and the one that she didn't qualify for was won by one of her strongest allies, Kaysar. I haven't seen her openly lie to anyone in the game. She's honest, and brutally so, and this is why the dim-witted nerd herd misjudges her as a bad-hearted person: because she calls them out on all their little hypocrisies to which they are largely blind. I think last night's episode really clarified things for everyone watching this show, and I think when the Jury house sees the tape from this weeks episode, little lightbulbs may just go off over the heads of every evicted member of the "Friendship" as they see how completely un-sportsmanship-like and whining their team comes off as. My wife, who had sort of been leaning towards wanting Maggie to win, changed her mind last night when Janelle won America's Choice yet again and we received a lot of footage of Maggie, Ivette, and April sitting around complaining about it, complaining about America, and trying to convince themselves they were good people. If they were good people, they wouldn't be sitting around vilifying others all day long, as they were doing with Janelle, and whenever they did criticize, they would at least have the fortitude to be honest about it to themselves as well as to others. I loved the scene where April proclaimed that she had never said that she hated anyone in the game, only to have the wonderful BB6 producers, directors, and editors follow that comment up with a montage of multiple times where she vehemently proclaimed how she hated x, y, and z in the game.

There was also a wonderful segment where Ivette and Janelle talked about how they both wanted kids, and Janelle's confessional was rather honest, saying that she enjoyed the conversation but that she didn't consider Ivette a friend, while Ivette's confessional was more like she had just discovered that she has the same taste in clothing as Hitler. She was completely dumb-founded to find that this "evil" HouseGuest also wanted kids like she did. This is the main flaw of the entire Nerd Herd: they made very extreme judgments on everyone else in the house, very caricaturist judgments that never hold up in reality. The stereo-type of bitchy Barbie doll doesn't really hold true of Janelle (it probably doesn't hold true of any real person in the real world) and you could see Ivette's total lack of the ability to process that discrepancy between reality and the version of reality she had constructed in her head.

Janelle also did a masterful move of trying to turn the nerd herd against one another by only asking April to talk to her pre-nominations and putting up Maggie and Ivette. Now, whoever April evicts will most likely thing that April had betrayed the moral code of the Friendship by striking a deal with Janelle to evict that person. Of course, there's always the chance of a veto putting April up on the block and saving one of the others. I really would like to see April gone from the game, as I hate hearing her talk and complain and whine week after week. However, I think her verses Janelle at the end will be Janelle's chance to win at the end.

So anyway, the flip side of the Nerd Herd's grousing about losing America's Choice was that Janelle got to leave the house and visit the set of Two and a Half Men, where some of the old people in the audience said "We love you, Janey!" She relayed this info to the Nerd Herd who all rolled their eyes in disbelief at America.

Veto ceremony and eviction are coming up on Tuesday. I hope Janelle can secure HoH for a 3rd time and ensure her place in the final two. Otherwise she's most likely gone. Now that we're this late in the game, it is rather clear to me that neither of these teams were particularly strong. The nerd herd won out because of their numbers and the large number of mistakes that the other team made (beginning with Kaysar showing his hand when he nominated Eric and Maggie). The biggest mistake of the game: Howie targetting James and Sarah when he should have been focused on trimming down the Nerd Herd. Second biggest mistake: Kaysar letting go of that button. If these two mistakes had been avoided, the final game would now be James verses the Sovereign and a more worthy set of opponents. But as is, the jury house is again numbered to favor the Friendship. How do you guys think this is all going to play out?

Big Brother 6:

Up and Down. Up and Down, it goes. Tick Tock, To and Fro. Cappy Cult to Jedi Council, on and on it flows. Week after Week, back and forth... To be honest, it's getting a little old. I'm ready for it to end. (Squash it!) Somebody please stick the final bloody dagger into someone's back and let's be done with it. Big Brother 6 is approaching a blitzkrieg of exhaustion. The two opposing communities in the House are so stark and so divided and so at odds with each other there has been no real strategic tricks since back in the ancient, bygone Kaysar days. Since then it's been a revolving door of HOH tradeoffs and knee-jerk nominations and calculable, humdrum evictions. The only recent titillation being that Ivette's lesbian lover, Maggie (ooh, that's weird), can't stand Eric-The-Fireman; i.e., "Cappy." Hip Hip Hurray!

As the possibility of winning a half-million dollars grows closer, “The Friendship” starts to fall apart. April Lewis asks Maggie Ausburn not to try in the veto competition so that it will be a fair fight between her and Ivette Corredero. The power of veto competition is called “The Missing Link” and involves matching the faces of houseguests with various clues. Ivette wins the power of veto competition and is so excited that she runs into a wall. Then, Ivette jumps up and down and screams about being in the final three.

April gets upset because she feels it is inconsiderate for Ivette to celebrate her win in such a way when she knows it means another member of “The Friendship” will be evicted. Janelle Pierzina acts like she is very concerned for April, but she tells the camera in the diary room that she’s just trying to get her vote. Janelle’s plan seems to work perfectly, as April tells Janelle that she will vote for her to get the money if she is matched up against Ivette in the end. Ivette uses the power of veto to save herself, and Janelle has no choice but to nominate April in her place.

April then confronts Ivette and tells her, “A lot of the decisions that I made in here or a lot of the things that I did, I feel like I listened to you.” April adds, “And there’s a lot of things that I’ve done that I’m ashamed of that I don’t think I would have done.” Ivette interrupts and says “had you not had the influence of me.” April responds “I do feel like that. I really do.” Ivette then goes ballistic screaming at April for daring to blame it on her, and April keeps asking Ivette to just listen to her. April tells Ivettte that “you don’t make me feel good about myself.” Ivette finally explodes and screams “April, if you want the veto, you can shove it up your ass.” Ivette then goes to her bed to cry and later says in the diary room, “The damage has been done and April and I will not be friends outside of this house.”

When Julie Chen talks to Janelle, Janelle brags “I definitely did cause a huge fight between April and Ivette, so yeah, I’m pretty proud of myself for doing that.” During the live eviction, Ivette breaks down in tears as she evicts April saying “I have to evict you, and I’m so sorry.” In her interview with Julie, April says that she won’t hold the eviction against Ivette, but she doesn’t specify who she is rooting for to win.

The head of household competition is called “The Key To Being Safe” and involves holding onto a key while standing on a spinning dial. Maggie has trouble figuring out that the key on a string can be pulled toward her and complains about barely being able to reach it. An amused Julie has to tell her to pull the key away from the poll. Julie tells the houseguests that it is a three part head of household competition, and the last round will occur live on a special Friday episode of Big Brother.

One 'Big Brother' HouseGuest is one step closer to the grand prize.

In the first of the three-part final Head of Household Competition, Janelle, Maggie and Ivette were required to balance on the ledge of a giant safe door and hold onto their house key as the dial spun slowly under their feet. Host Julie Chen also revealed that whomever won the challenge would also receive the combination to the last gold safe in the 'Big Brother' house.

On the 24/7 live Internet feeds from the 'Big Brother' house, viewers saw Janelle fall off at almost four hours into the competition. After some arguing back and forth about who would step off and face Janelle in the second phase, Maggie fell or stepped off the apparatus and Ivette was declared the winner. Ivette will now face the winner of the second portion of the competition for the last HOH title of the year. The winner of that will pick who they are taking with them to the jury vote and who is the last person booted from the series to become the final 'Big Brother 6' juror.

After opening the last gold safe, Ivette found a note. The note informed Ivette that her prize was waiting for her in the backyard. There, Ivette found two brand new motor scooters.

In other 'Big Brother' news Busto has been busted. April Lewis, the pharmaceutical sales representative from Texas, has joined the 'Big Brother 6' jury courtesy of her Disciples' Alliance mate Ivette Corredero. Ivette won the final Golden Power of Veto Competition on a taped portion of the show and saved herself. Head of Household Janelle Pierzina nominated April Lewis in her place. This set the stage for Ivette to cast the sole vote for eviction on the live segment.

In her speech, Ivette thanked all of the Disciples Alliance members for their support. She then cast her vote.

"I do not wish this position not even on my worst enemy. I cannot believe I am going to do this and I never pictured myself doing it but April, I have to evict you and I am so sorry," said Ivette as she shared a hug with April.

Despite the bitterness that has arisen over the Veto victory and personal issues that have come to the surface recently, both women acted cordial to each other on the broadcast. On the live Internet feeds from the 'Big Brother' house, April and Ivette had a series of heated arguments and stopped speaking to each other. After being plagued by her conscience, April accused Ivette of influencing too many of her decisions during the game.

In her conversation with Julie Chen on the Couch of Shame, April downplayed her falling out with Ivette even though host Julie Chen pressed her on the issue several times.

"I am blaming everything on the house and nothing on any of the other people," said April. "I kind of stayed out her path the last few days because I know her feelings were hurt and I told her I am really sorry and she hurt mine as well. I told her that I loved her and to hang in there. I hope for the best for all three of them. They are all wonderful people."

April went on to say she would never blame her actions on someone else but she was influenced to do things she normally wouldn't have done in the outside world.

"I take responsibility for that and I am not going to blame it on her (Ivette)," said April.

The final member of the 'Big Brother 6' jury will be evicted on a special Friday episode leaving the last two HouseGuests to face the jury on the season finale next Tuesday night. The winner of 'Big Brother 6' will take home $500,000 U.S. while the loser departs with $50,000 U.S.

Tonight on Big Brother, Ivette effectively kissed away any chance she had to win the grand prize of $500,000. By evicting April, Ivette got rid of the only houseguest she'd have a chance of winning against. Against April, Ivette could have counted on votes from Beau, JBlow, James and probably Maggie or Howie. She will undoubtably lose to either Janelle or Maggie. Dumbass.

And, to add insult to injury, Ivette's snotty goodbye video to April made damn sure there's no way April will ever vote for her. She could have salvaged something if she could have just shut her mouth and not been a bitch for just a second. Sadly, Ivette isn't capable of that.

But even with all of my negative words about Ivette, I still like her better than Maggie. This has been a great season of Big Brother, but it'll be ruined in sour-faced Maggie wins in the end. Sure, she's a great cult leader, but who wants a cult leader to win? Not I.

So, with April out the door the final series of Head of Household competitions begun. As the show ended, the final three faced another endurance challenge as they hung on to keys with balancing themselves on a slowly spinning platform. Tonight's winner will face the winner of part 2 of the challenge in Friday's live show to determine the final two.

As much as I want her to win, I couldn't help but notice that Janelle's form was poor and that she forgot to bring her gloves to the competition. I'm afraid that our girl is off her game.

I'll post an update when part 1 of the competition is over and another one when we know who won part 2. Stay tuned.

Oh wait, I can't stop without saying a word about the jury house. At this stage of the game, the action in the jury house is more interesting than what's going on in the Big Brother house. JBlo is still a bitch and I love Rachel and James more and more every day. When JBlo ran to wrap herself around Howie as he entered the house, Rachel's jealous claws came out. Good. Howie is more than juvenile, but the love of a good woman like Rachel could turn him around. I just know it. Love conquers all (except reality television).

The Frankenstein Monster of plastic surgery -- Janelle -- continues to whup ass, but doesn't Maggie really deserve to win?

If a TV series is a summer series, then it should conclude in the summer, not in the fall.

While it’s nice that BIG BROTHER 6 and ROCK STAR: INXS continue to plod along until the middle of September – it defeats the purpose of calling these show’s summer programming if they start to interfere with watching the new fall shows.

You watch a summer series, because there’s nothing else on to watch that’s more important. When it competes with the more important shows, it makes you want to pull your TiVo out of the wall and give up on television altogether.

Now on to the big Big Brother dilemma – I’m terrified that the worst case scenario is going to happen – that Janelle will actually win.

The funny thing about the whining going on in the house with April, Ivette and Maggie is that they’re all upset that America loves Janelle and that’s why she gets all the votes when the viewers get to decide on phone calls and CBS promotional stunts like sending a housemate to the set of TWO AND A HALF MEN (On another note, doesn’t it defeat the purpose of being stuck in a house all summer, if a houseguest can actually leave and go some place else?)

Why shouldn’t she go? She may be the Frankenstein monster of plastic surgery, but at least Janelle is trying to have some fun. Who was the one playing light saber with Howie (oh, and by the way, Howie you calling the other’s the Nerd Herd, yet, excuse me Sith lord, who was the one going all Jedi the moment he got his light saber?)

Yes, Janelle is annoying but she does win the games on her own terms all the time, so she’s more than a bubbly airhead. Then again, maybe she was that smart girl in school nobody paid attention to and through the miracle of plastic surgery, she’s become the patchwork Barbie doll everyone loves to hate. Heck, she could even be a man and we wouldn’t even know it.

But enough of Janelle.

The person who deserves to win is Maggie. And you know she’s next on the chopping block. She’s played the game as well as she can and she hasn’t been truly evil to anyone.

Plus, you don’t see her groping the other girl’s plastic boobs on TV.

So that’s my hope. The other’s, well, they bug the crap out of me. And with only a few episodes left, I CAN’T wait to get back to my other fall TV habits. Most importantly is the new season of SURVIVOR.

Forced to vote out one of their own, Big Brother 6's "Friendship" alliance cannibalized itself during last night's live broadcast of the CBS reality series, evicting April Lewis, a 30-year-old pharmaceutical sales representative from Dallas, TX, from the Big Brother house.

Despite being outnumbered 2 to 1 in last week's twelfth Head Of Household competition, Janelle Pierzina (the last remaining "Sovereign Six" alliance member) had easily defeated April and Maggie Ausburn in the challenge, guaranteeing herself a spot in Big Brother 6's Final 3 and ensuring that one of "Friendship" members April, Maggie, or Ivette Corredero would be the next houseguest to be evicted.

After her Head Of Household victory, Janelle had nominated Maggie and Ivette for eviction. However, once Ivette won the resulting Power Of Veto competition and (following an exuberate celebration that offended Maggie and April) removed herself from the chopping block, Janelle, forced to select another houseguest, had nominated April for eviction.

Once April had been nominated in Ivette's place, the former allies engaged in a verbal argument that strategically, made little sense for either of them. Sensing that her time in the house was coming to an end and apparently deciding to go down in flames, April told Ivette -- the houseguest who would cast the sole vote that would determine who would stay in the house -- that, in retrospect, she was now "ashamed" of many of her house actions and blamed Ivette for "a lot" of her game decisions.

Always a hothead, Ivette responded in an equally perplexing manner, launching into a tirade against April, the woman who, should Ivette manage to get to the Final 2, will be one of the seven jury members to determine whether Ivette wins the $500,000 grand prize.

Ivette's declaration that "April and I will not be friends outside this house" eliminated what little suspense remained in the live eviction broadcast, and after Ivette predictably announced that she was voting to evict April, the blonde Texan left the house. As Big Brother 6's sixth jury member, April will now join Howie Gordon, Beau Beasley, James Rhine, Jennifer Vasquez, and Rachel Plencner as a member of the jury that will decide which one of the competition's two finalists will win its grand prize. Big Brother 6's finale will air live on Tuesday, September 20.

Once April was gone from the house, the three remaining houseguests began competing in Big Brother 6's three-part final Head Of Household competition that will give its winner the opportunity to determine which other houseguest will accompany them to the Final 2 jury judgment. Dubbed "Key To Being Safe," the first part of the competition was an endurance challenge that required each of the women to hold their keys (tied to a nearby pole) while standing a spinning "dial" platform. The winner of the competition will be revealed during Big Brother 6's special Friday, September 16 at 8PM ET/PT broadcast.

'Big Brother' has its final two...in the last and most important Head of Household Competition, that is.

Although the actual competition was blocked on the live 24/7 'Big Brother 6' Internet feeds, viewers saw Disciples Alliance members Ivette Corredero and Maggie Ausburn discussing how disappointed they were that surviving Outcast Alliance member Janelle Pierzina was victorious in the second leg of the final HOH Challenge when the feeds returned.

"I am sorry if you have any regrets," Ivette said to Maggie about her losing or possibly throwing the first phase of the competition.

"Everything happens for a reason," replied Maggie.

"I feel so bad," said Ivette, winner of the first phase.

"I could have won that competition but I misread the question," explained Maggie who went into the Diary (confessional) Room and complained to the producers that the wording of one of the questions was hard to decipher.

Janelle will now go on to face Ivette in the final leg of the competition which will air on Friday's live episode of 'Big Brother 6'. The winner of the last Head of Household title will immediately vote out the last jury member and in doing so will decide who will sit beside them in the final two.

The season finale of 'Big Brother 6' will air next Tuesday night at 9:00 p.m. EDT on CBS. The winner will take home $500,000 U.S. The second place finisher will score $50,000 U.S.

Janelle Pierzina is now the last member of the 'Big Brother 6' jury.

It's a depressing déjà vu for 'Big Brother'. In a repeat of the fourth season that saw despised HouseGuests Jun Song and Alison Irwin reach the finals, 'Big Brother 6' is on its way to another gloomy finish.

On Friday night's live eviction telecast, Disciple Alliance members Maggie Ausburn, the 27-year-old emergency room nurse from Las Vegas and Ivette Corredero, the 25-year-old waitress from Miami, became the finalists when Ivette won the last Head of HouseHold Competition and evicted the last Outcasts Alliance member Janelle Pierzina, the 25-year-old cocktail waitress from Miami Beach.

Ivette defeated Janelle in the second tiebreaker round of a complete-the-sentence challenge with video featuring members from the 'Big Brother 6' jury.

"You know what's coming," Ivette said to Janelle as she cast her vote for eviction. "Aside from being a beautiful woman, you are an amazing, amazing player and have given me a total run for my money. I have to evict you Janelle because I have a promise." Ivette's compassionate words on the live broadcast were in stark contrast to the persistent name-calling and bashing of Janelle that the Disciples had participated in throughout the entire season.

With Ivette and Maggie detested for their gossiping, trash-talking and scheming ways, disappointed die-hard fans, many of whom watched the shenanigans all season long on the 24/7 Internet feeds from the 'Big Brother' house, were quick to pull the plug on the season.

"Why don't they just change the name of the show to 'The Biggest Asshole", wrote 'mthebrat' on the popular Joker's Updates site which was flooded with threats of feed subscription cancellations and sign-offs for the season immediately after the airing of Friday night's episode.

"I will now bow out and leave these pathetic Nerd Herders to shine in their own glory because as soon as they get out in the real world and realize how the majority of people found them to be tacky, dirty and very small-minded people, the shine will be no more. They can then take their winnings and enjoy it. It's all that they will get," wrote 'KataGarbo' on the same site.

Some applauded Ivette for keeping her promise to Maggie despite the fact that Maggie is surely more popular with the 'Big Brother 6' jury. Some called Ivette's decision the dumbest move in the history of the reality show since Ivette most probably had the votes to win 'Big Brother 6' if she had selected Janelle as the majority of the jury members are from the Disciples Alliance.

"I knew if Ivette won she would probably evict me because she has made promises to her friends in the house. I knew she would evict me. I am not surprised," Janelle told host Julie Chen on the Couch of Shame.

Thinking for sure she would be bounced early on in the game, Janelle was surprised she had made it so far.

"What do you make of the fact that Ivette chose Maggie to make it to the final two with her," Chen asked Janelle.

"It was a poor decision, I believe. She cannot beat Maggie. I think Maggie will win the money," said Janelle stating also that Ivette didn't want to break her promise and picked friendship over money. Janelle admitted that Ivette's decision to do so might sway her jury vote.

The season finale of 'Big Brother 6' will air next Tuesday night at 9:00 p.m. EDT on CBS. At that time, the 'Big Brother 6' jury will vote on whom the grand prize will be awarded to. The winner will take home $500,000 U.S. The second place finisher will score $50,000 U.S.

The finale of Big Brother 6 isn’t until Tuesday night, but for many fans, Big Brother 6 ended on Friday night.

When last we saw our houseguests, they were battling it out in the fist stage of a three part head of household competition. Friday night’s episode started off with the conclusion of the first leg of the head of household competition. Ivette outlasted both Janelle and Maggie to win the endurance competition and the combination to the final safe. Inside the safe is a note that tells Ivette to go to the back yard. In the back yard, Ivette finds out that her prize is a pair of scooters.

The second stage of the head of household competition is a clue challenge where the answers are numbers that make up the combination for a lock. Janelle wins this stage of the head of household combination, setting up a showdown with Ivette.

Janelle lets Ivette know that she is taking her if she wins the final stage of the head of household competition. Janelle also points out to Ivette that Ivette won’t win if she goes to the final two with Maggie. The best move for Ivette if she wants the half-million dollars is to secretly throw the competition and let Janelle take her to the final two.

Julie Chen asks the houseguests who they miss the most and the least. Janelle misses Eric the least, while both Ivette and Maggie miss Eric the most. Julie also offers updates on what some of the former houseguests are doing. Ashlea has been sewing, Kaysar and Michael have been following Internet polls, Eric has been getting use to his new nickname Cappy, and Sarah has been flipping through photo albums filled with pictures of James. Eric also professes “I look at Ivette and say that it’s like I’m looking in a mirror.”

The final stage of the head of household competition is another one of those “how well you got to know your housemates this Summer” competitions. Since “The Friendship” was attached at the hip for most of the game, “The Friendship” members usually have an advantage in these types of competitions. The initial round of questions results in a tie. In the first tiebreaker question, Ivette and Janelle come up with the same answer. In the second tiebreaker question, Julie Chen asks “how many hours have you lived in the Big Brother house from the night you entered until 5P.M. this evening?” The question could have proven to be controversial since Janelle and Ivette haven’t been in the house for the same number of hours. (Janelle left the house to visit the set of Two And A Half Men as part of her America’s Choice victory.) However, both contestants go over, and Ivette comes the closest to the actual answer.

Ivette wins the overall head of household competition and chooses to take Maggie with her to the final two. An excited Maggie hugs Ivette and nearly loses her pants. Ivette’s choice is very interesting, because after talking about how important the money was to her family for most of the game, Ivette essentially chose friendship over the money. Ivette would have probably faired much better in the voting against Janelle rather than Maggie. There is still a chance that Ivette could win if the other houseguests decide to reward her for her loyalty, but the odds should be in Maggie’s favor.

When last we saw our intrepid contestants, they were beginning the first of a three-part Head of Household competition -- an endurance challenge in which they had to hold onto their dangling key whilst sidestepping balanced on a rotating safe dial right out of a 1966 Batman comic book. The winner not only gets to move straight to round three -- she gets the contents in the final unlocked safe in the house.

Surprisingly, after three hours and forty-five minutes, Janelle is the first to fall -- perhaps saving her strength for round two and, thus, round three.

Neither Ivette nor Maggie wishes to take on Janelle in the second round, which they surmise to be a memory competition, the likes of which Janelle has already established herself in as a competitor par excellence. Ivette tries to get Maggie to step down on the premise that Maggie is in a win-win situation and doesn't need the Head of Household. Ivette will take her to the final two, and (says Ivette) Janelle will also take Maggie to the final two. Maggie isn't as sure, but as she is distracted by the conversation, she stumbles and falls.

Ivette is declared the winner of the round and gets to open the last safe. Inside are instructions to go back outside, where await a pair of Vespa scooters. Won't Ivette and Tush look super-chic tooling around Miami on those?

Round two of the HoH competition continues the theme of locks. Janelle and Maggie each have a giant padlock to open by rolling each tumbler to the right number. The clue to each number is atop the lock, containing questions like "How many female contestants were in the pressure cooker." This is just what Ivette and Maggie feared: Janelle's kind of game. And indeed it was, although it was a squeaker. A fine race between the two.

Returning to the house, the table has again been replaced by a smaller table -- a clear table, under which rests $500,000 in cash, visible to all. This is the prize they're fighting for. Anyone got a sledgehammer?

Janelle and Ivette prepare to go head to head in round three. Janelle works on Ivette while they play chess, telling her she doesn't have to win the competition to ensure herself a spot in the final two. Asking Ivette to throw the game? I don't see that action as being a big vote getter.

Before we get to the final -- and live -- competition, Julie takes the viewers to visit the evicted houseguests who didn't make it to the Jury House. We see Ashlea's response to seeing her friend Janelle kiss around on Michael. We see Kaysar and Michael surf the Big Brother fansites while Michael moons over Janelle. Eric's nickname has followed him out of the house and into the real world, where all his co-workers now refer to him as "Cappy." And Sarah is convinced her relationship with James is now stronger than ever.

But enough with the reminiscing. It's time for round 3. It's the know-your-houseguests'-minds psychology game. Julie will tell the two the first half of a statement, and who said it, and the contestants have to select which of the two latter halves is the one that actually completed the sentence.

The first round goes to Ivette. The second and third go to nobody. Fourth, and it's Ivette again. The fifth goes to Janelle. And so does the sixth. It's a tie. The tiebreaker question: Total number of all votes cast to evict. The true answer: 74. Amazingly, Janelle and Ivette both get it wrong, but both write down 66. It's another tie.

The next tiebreaker: Number of hours in the Big Brother house from entry to 5pm this day. Neither of the girls is ready to turn her board around when Julie asks, with Janelle taking even longer than expected (one wondered if she nearly became disqualified for taking too long.) Janelle guesses 1900. Ivette, 1875. They're both wrong, and they're both over... but Ivette was the closest, and the spicy Latina is the new and final HoH.

So how will it all end up? Last recap, I predicted that if Ivette goes up against Janelle, Janelle wins. If Ivette goes up against Maggie, then Ivette wins. Ivette either is thinking the same way I am, or she's making her friendship alliance stick to the bitter end, because she evicts Janelle. My opinion, she's secured the $500,000 to herself (but even the $50,000 second prize isn't all that bad a deal.)

Ivette tells Janelle on her way out that she would totally vote for Janelle for Big Brother All Stars. Which brings to mind an interesting conundrum. To have such a show, you'd have to pull two houseguests from each season to get a minimum of 12 players. Who would make the most interesting mix? They wouldn't necessarily have to be the winners -- but they sure won ratings and/or attention. I put this list together -- your own mileage may vary.
