what was number one when you were born then, lets hope hope no-one says the Tweenies here!

Mine was 'dont stand so close to me' by the Police in the UK, and 'Another one bites the dust' in the USA. They say the songs relate to you somehow! Cant see where!

The UK number 1 when I was born was Seven Tears by
The Goombay Dance Band...I have nop idea who the hell that is!

And the US number 1 was Love Rock 'N Roll by
Joan Jett and the Blackhearts...I haven't heard of that either, although I have heard of Joan Jett!

The UK number 1 when I was born was Never stop me loving you by Sonia and in the USA it was Toy Solidiers by Martika.

I don't know either of them and I can't think how they could relate to me :roll:

I loved that song Earz! ::lol:: ::lol::

I loved that song...I was a huge Sonia fan!! So so sad!!!

I also loved Martika, especially the song that went "I feel the earth move under my feet" or something like that! I believe toy soldiers went something like "step by step, heart to heart, left right left, we all fall down like toy soldiers".

I also loved I Should Be So Lucky- I remember when everyone used to sing "I should be so ducky ducky ducky ducky" and "I should be so lucky, with my rubber ducky" cos of that Edd the Duck who was on the Broomcupboard on BBC1!!

I loved growing up in the 80s cos there were so many cheesy pop song's around (mostly by Pete Waterman lol!)...it was fab!

I was sorting out under my bed last night, and came across one of Sonia's albums!! lol! Only on cassette of course! All the Kylie and Jason albums were there too as well!
Number 1 the day I was born was Two Tribes, by Frankie goes to Hollywood!

I've got Sonia's album too! On cassette as well lol! And I also have 3 of Kylie's old album's, 2 of Jason Donovan's, a Betty Boo album, a Dannii Minogue album, and a Right Said Fred album! God, the thing's I listened to back then! Nothing's changed though- I'm still into really sad cheesy pop rofl!
