ok Jezi years and years ago when I was a little girl and you were just a twinkle in your daddies eye there used to be an advert for fruit pastels and the catchphrase was 'I bet you can't put a fruit pastel in your mouth without chewing it' and it had this really tall basket ball player and he could do loads of clever stuff then a little kid would come along and say but I bet you can't put a friut pastel in your mouth without chewing it' and the tall basket ball player would say 'sure I can' then put one in his mouth and chew it. I guess you had to be a 70's kid to know the catchphrase so I am REALLY showing my ever increasing age now. Does that help?

was it not more of an 80's thing than the 70's? Was a great advert and absolutely spot on. You were always chewing them before you realised you were doing. Are they still out or have they been replaced by a Euro friendly name like Stardust or something

Well I'm quite picky (although less now because eating things containing milk doesn't seem to really make me feel sick - this however doesn't mean I like a vast number of things that contain milk ), don't like drinking out of glasses, don't really like different things touching on the plate (but this is situation dependent) and just don't like it
