Honey, you've been teaching your kids those things so they would learn how to stay away from danger. If you teach your child how to use a knife properly, you propably prevent them from hurting themselfs with it. When you teach them how to use matches and light a fire safely, you teach them how to do it safely. I'm sure you get my point here. That is the way you keep your kids safe the best you can.
