THE production company behind Big Brother is filming in the Highlands, but do not expect too many tabloid revelations.

The group of strangers that Endemol is observing consists this time of competitors vying to write the musical centrepiece to the Highland Year of Culture in 2007.

The cameras will chart the progress of the last 44 competitors in the £250,000 Highland Quest to find a new musical, launched by Sir Cameron Mackintosh, the impresario, in January.

I have written the music for two of the musicals that are in the final 44 of that competition - but there's NO WAY they're filming me going about my daily business

i can't read a note of music, i wouldnt know where to start

I was in Dundee yesterday afternoon recording the 'original' (haha ) cast recording of the most recent musical - it was exhausting but we were pretty chuffed with the results.. that'll get submitted in the next month or so....will keep you posted
