Purely from a legal perspective I would steer clear of health advice. There are no guarantees that we would have ANY idea what we are talking about and I would hate someone to be given some advice that they took and caused them harm.

Can I apologise if I have offended anyone with being a bit flip about astigmatism also, I was only commenting because Rinces description of his existence reminded me of mine with my new glasses. Astigmatism can get worse and cause a lot of problems for people and I didnt want to upset or offend anyone by joking about it. So sorry if you have been.

Not offended...I prefer to offend than be offended
Just put my two penn'orth in about how unkind some people can be.I had an operation to correct a squint as a toddler but the nerve was severed at the back of my eye.I lost the sight and was left with a permanently wonky eye.
However,I was able to show it was causing me untold psychological distress so had a cosmetic op on the NHS restoring me to my former beauty :D :D
