No I used to be but not anymore. Though the responsibility of raising children alone is huge and not easy. I'm not overly distressed/worried in the dream or about it. I was just interested to know how messed up I am

Well,I must be cracking up and so I need therapy.
Dreamed I was on a plane(I dont enjoy flying at best of times),when the plane appeared to hit turbulence.Normally I break out in a cold sweat if this happens, but I felt reasonably calm.There was then an announcement that the aircraft was experiencing severe technical dificulties.There was no panic,just eerie calm as the plane descended into free fall.As the plane fell,I woke up absolutely terrified as if with a sense of foreboding rather than the dream itself I'm still feeling agitated (tho that could be the fact that I only had 3 hours sleep) and just generally freaked.

Any hope for me or should I voluntarily section myself?

It might be connected with feeling that you have no control over your life at present. Everything is spinning out of control and you aren't panicking because you can't do anything about it and know it is inevitable.

or maybe you had some strong cheddar before you went to bed after watching Lost.

I think your analysis is pretty spot on tho must say its a pretty accurate reflection of all my life.My lifes been pretty eventful and I've spent a great deal of it dealing with it by depersonalising it all and watching it happen.
It's just which aspect is spinning out of control now?

Well as you are very frightened of flying, it could be whatever aspect of your life frightens you the most but which you have to do anyway if you are ever going to get anywhere.

Ah thats is. It is all to do with watching TV and thinking I could write better than this. You have a secret ambition to be a scriptwriter.

I'd love to do scriptwriting.....*Opens word and begins typing the dream sequence out..perhaps I should add the bbfans bit too...can't be any more bizarre than current episodes!*
