Tara On Drug Rumours

Tara Palmer-Tomkinson has spoken out about her recent weight loss and rumours she's taking drugs.

In an interview with Heat magazine she said losing weight wasn't a result of being back on drugs:

"It always reverts to: 'Oh, is she back on drugs?'... that was all seven years ago - I think it's time the nation granted me my recovery."

She puts her sudden skinniness down to the break-up of her relationship with Matalan heir Jamie Hargreaves and a fast metabolism.

"I broke up with my boyfriend. It really f***** my life up. He did it in the summer. I didn't see it coming and I was absolutely broken by it.

"I don't like being this thin. When I lose weight, I look old and haggard. It does not become me."

Insisting that she'll never take drugs again, she revealed details of her rehab regime at The Meadows, where Kate Moss was recently treated.

"You go back and you look at your demons and the things that have affected your life and the reasons why you do things.

"On my last night, I burnt my Louis Vuitton Filofax because it had all my friends' names in there and they all used. There's no way you are going to get clean if you are hanging around with people who still use."

Speaking about Kate she added: "I've always thought she was a lovely girl. I've never seen her off her head."

And on the topic of her skinny bod, Tara's planning to beef-up when she joins Ant & Dec in Australia next year:

"I'll put it all back when I go out for I'm A Celeb. I always eat loads out there."

"I was still eating, but as I have such a high metabolism I have to eat four times as much as anyone else


So I would come home at night and instead of having three pizzas, like I normally would, I would have a couple of bowls of cereal
