I read a couple of torey Hayden's books about 8 years ago and they were truly heart warming. The woman is a fantastic teacher and truly inspiring. I have to say though I remember that she was a better teacher than a writer. That was some time ago and I'm sure she has improved so I am definitely keen to read this and will get it next time I'm in town.

mine arrived from the library too today Fel. I'm going to start it tommorrow then when we have read it (and ellie and rtvfan ) we can do a thread about it. Enjoy :D

I think she might agree with you ellie! I found this quote from her website
