It's snowing huge snowflakes here, about -1 degrees celsius. A perfect weather for the opening of the christmas season :D

I've had a look at the computer models for later in the week and it looks snowy for some

Mainly on high ground in the North and East, biting wind off the North sea too.

Winter has arrived.

Sorry to point out the blindingly funny here, but talking about the weather is a typically British thing. Nice to see you guys have dragged a Finn and a Scandinavian into the boring depths of Britishdom as well ::lol:: ::lol::

As far as I have been noticing, talking about the weather is universal thing. It's quite easy subject almost anywhere and everybody has their own opinions over it, do they like the weather today or not or has it been better or worse past, or what it'll be in the future. No matter what your nationality is. ;)

The models are still looking colder as the week progresses and the met office have just released this, it's a bit heavy imo as it's still only November and snow is unlikely to hang around for long.

EARLY WARNING OF SEVERE WEATHER

EARLY WARNING of Heavy Snow and Blizzards Issued by the Met Office at 10:46 on Monday, 21 November

OVERALL RISK ASSESSMENT: The probability of disruption due to severe weather conditions in part of the United Kingdom within the next 132 hours is 70 percent.
This is the first warning of disruption due to Heavy Snow and Blizzards.
The Met Office is forecasting a period of cold and very strong northerly winds across the country on Thursday and Friday, and perhaps also through Saturday, with all areas at risk of seeing some snow.
Highest risk areas are northern and eastern Scotland (where winds may reach severe gale force), and also eastern counties of England. Showers will fall as snow or hail widely over higher ground and at lower levels at times. Local blizzard conditions are expected over higher ground in the north and east.
This warning will be updated by 1000 on Tuesday 22 November 2005.

You live in Aviemore ;) Yeah we're just not used to it over here so the warning is justified as peeps get caught out easily. I'm not expecting any here tbh as the English Channel is far too warm atm and heats up the land.If this was 6 weeks later it would be pretty severe!
