CLEAN-CUT Jimmy Osmond has become the early rebel of the series - by smuggling in salt and pepper.

The 42-year-old Mormon singer whipped out the seasonings when his new pals complained their basic rice and beans was too bland.

He'd hidden them in his chosen luxury item, a teddy bear.

But producers quickly spotted the offence and confiscated the contraband before giving the former child star a severe telling-off. Sid Owen described him as a dark horse.

And an amazed David Dickinson told him: "What, a Mormon from Salt Lake City?

"A gangster from Chicago yes but not a Mormon from Salt Lake City.

Good ole Jimmy, remember him from my younger day's him being one year older than me. I so wanted to be an Osmond in those days, all those girls fainting at your feet the lucky blighter

Is he an idiot, or what? If you're going to smuggle something in then dont wave it about. Mind you, the fact he smuggled it in and the teddy bear wasn't all it seemed had me clapping him

I was a Donny Osmond fan, but always hated Jimmy. My brother wants to ring up and vote for Jimmy to do all the bushtucker trials, as he has issues with the fact that we all *made* him pretend to be Jimmy when he was a kid, and sing Long Haired Lover!

I'm just interested to see what Jimmy is like once he's found his feet. I did wonder about the choice of a teddy bear!

One of my fave moments last night was the way Donny laughed when talking about how he thought Jimmy would get on. I still adore Donny.

I'm a lady of a certain age....

We ALL liked Donny when I was a kid. Or else we were too cool to admit to it, but secretly kissed his picture in private, and taped his records from the radio.

Vagabond, I'm a lady of a certain age that appears to be at least 10 years younger than you. I only ask one question...What is it about all those mormon teeth that does it for you?

It was Donny's big brown eyes that did it for me. He has a fabulous voice, and he knows how to entertain an audience, hehe.

Now Jimmy is a different story. He's wetter than water!!

Marie used to be pretty fit, didn't she and Donny both do a duet together called paper roses or something like that?
