DAVID Dickinson had a close shave when the camp became infested with ticks.
The other celebs were moaning about being bitten - so the 64-year-old Bargain Hunt star took matters into his own hands by creeping off wearing a "modesty gown" and brandishing a razor.
He was filmed hunched over in the bush with his trousers around his ankles as he carefully shaved parts of his body under the cape.
After marching back to the camp, The Duke proudly declared: "I've done some major beauty salon shaving - especially in the hidden places where these little sods may go."
Jenny Frost looked bemused - then she made a shaving gesture towards her groin and David confirmed her suspicions. He said: "I used the modesty gown but had to raise it for the final act."
He later added: "There have been a couple of people who have had ticks. I think now we realise it can happen at any time - they suddenly drop off trees."
Ex-Emmerdale actress Sheree Murphy was unhappy with the insect infestation.
She complained: "Everyone just feels itchy and horrible. Lots of people are being bitten."
And when Carol felt one of the critters burrowing into her back, she visited the Bush Telegraph and asked: "I just wondered if a nice passing doc could come and de-tick Carol Thatch?"
