God is better than sex
X Factor chipmunk Chico has confessed he was once hooked on booze-fuelled romps with up to 15 women at a time and drank at least a bottle of whisky every day.
But all that has changed for the ex-stripper now. Want to know how Chico managed to quit? He drove his car off a 60ft cliff in South Africa – by accident – and then found God. Or God found him, as he puts it.
“I was a sex addict,” says Chico. “There is no doubt about it.” But sex didn’t bring him happiness, sadly: “I was living the champagne lifestyle - I got my money for nothing and my women for free. It would be a dream for most guys and for a time I thought it was great… but eventually it left me feeling empty and low. I now know I used sex and drink to feed my ego.”
But after the accident, everything changed. “I didn’t find God, God found me and showed me the path I should be taking,” he said. “To be at one with God is the most beautiful thing you can do. It is much better than sex, it is not even comparable. I have given up drinking completely and my sex drive is under control now.” Thank heaven for that, or the world would soon have been populated with mini-Chicos and Chiquettes.
