Ah but they will go down in history but for the wrong reasons assuming that it's not a sting on the audience.

This is old news but here is Ryan on tv http://www.blood.co.uk/pages/flashAdvert5L.htm

And Keri is listed as an extra http://www.performersdirectory.co.uk/extrasgirls.html

Someone on the CH4 forum says she was in Cruel Summer 2.

But this isn't unusual for contestants to have previous acting experience as a number of previous BB contestants did as well.

Disappointment

The not-so lucky cadets who won't be going to space have been finding it hard to be happy for the first British Space Tourists.

The seven unlucky cadets not chosen to board the Space Shuttle tonight have been licking their wounds -and some have found the decision harder to bear than others.

Louise and Sarah Jane were inconsolable when they heard the news. Billy did his best to cheer up Louise as she cried on his shoulder. "I feel sorry for you most," he said. "You deserve it."

Sarah Jane admitted she "properly sobbed" in the diary room. "I've never had my heart ripped out like that. I'm gutted. I know what it feels like to be stabbed in the heart," she told Andrew.

Andrew admitted he was "a bit p*ssed" but was trying not to dwell on it. But he couldn't hide his disappointment when the chosen four said their mission would flash by like lightning.

"For you it will," he said. "But for us it's another day in f***ing Krymsk."

Sarah Jane told Billy he would have to sign his autograph as Billy Astronaut. Paul signed her book but had to ask how to spell astronaut first.

Astrid said the decision was heartbreaking, but was more concerned about lifting Louise's spirits, as she'd taken the news so hard.

The contrast to those who were going on the Shuttle was stark. Billy could hardly contain himself in the diary room. "I'm going out of the world!" he gushed, during what he described as "my last video diary on earth".

Cadets Meet the Press

The cadets have their very first taste of fame when they attend an international press conference. Unfortunately, the "journalists" are actually actors and members of the production team.

Billy, Charlie, Keri and Paul met the "international press" for their very first press conference to discuss their feelings prior to blast off.

Unbeknownst to our Cadets, the conference was actually made up of actors and members of the production team posing as journalists.

The cadets described their shock and happiness at being selected to become Britain's first space tourists, except Charlie who felt it was "a clerical error".

Asked if any of them were planning on having sex in space, Billy admitted he couldn't say no, but when Keri said no, he quickly changed his mind and said, "No, then." Charlie and Paul were the other options.

Alex Zane asked the cadets how they would greet an alien should they meet one. Paul said he would greet them with a kiss, which is nice. Normally astronauts like to blast them into alien hell with laser guns and stuff, just in case.

The cadets spoke with great respect for the training they have received at STAR, and the hospitality of the Russian people. They've even grown to appreciate cabbage.

Asked by a tabloid reporter if they had slept with a hooker, or anyone from EastEnders, Charlie exclaimed, "He wasn't a hooker!" Keri said she hadn't slept with either, but quite liked Ross Kemp.

They all had a Merry Christmas message for the people back in the UK, and James Campbell pointed out they would all be back in the UK by Christmas, so could pass that message on in person.

Billy told reporters he had discounted a career as an astronaut after the show, saying it was, "even beyond us."

Charlie however, said he wouldn't be surprised to get a call from NASA.

Sorry but this whole thing is starting to smell more fishy every day. Clearly, everything that is being shown on television is being carefully prepared before transmission. Every word they say, and everything they do, is controlled, and comes through the Channel 4 site.

Endemol are the most experienced reality TV production company in the world. Yet we have no evidence of any genuine live action. Indeed the nearest we have is a weird commentary from some anonymous poster on the official Channel 4 forum.

The clincher for me though is this. A cursory look at the logistics required to pull off a con like this would by frightening…and extremely expensive.

The cost alone of running a full simulation of the flight would run into hundreds of thousands of pounds. Keeping enough extras, let alone full time actors, on set, and on board with the con, for the whole project would be hard – and again very expensive. Cash payments to the “competitors”, and the final “prize” also tots up to a very large figure.

Yet this programme is going out at 9pm on Channel 4 during mid-December, a period when viewing figures are unlikely to bring in any substantial return…and, of course, the Saturday programme was up against X-Factor and Strictly Come Dancing!!

They do not even have any option for bringing in revenue from telephone voting.

In a few days time I may be made to eat my words, but I am now totally convinced that this programme would have been better scheduled to end on April 1st.

Ghost reported hearing over the radio about an insect problem.
The insect bit is that there is a moth loose in the studio.
Johnney says that they have had to keep the shutter closed on the front of the sim due to the moth.
Also Johnney is getting the script changed to have the 'we' removed as he says 'then it has nothing to do with him'.
He also says that they could just run the afternoons footage and he could just go home.

The only time I've been to Kettering it has always been to visit someone in the Hosiptal. Or passing by on the A14/A6.

Once had the misfourtune to have to change trains there. I seem to recall that it was early evening, and Kettering station was very cold, windy and desolate.

Don't know if E4 has the 'live' stream up but if found it on the Telstar satellite.
Background sound in the mock-up isn't too bad but they need to mask the sound of the air-jacks as if you know what they are it's quite obvious what the sounds are.

And as per usual the CH4 servers are on overload.

The produce crew must be howling after they just did the pledge of allegiance to the God Uranus.

The elaborate and riveting television hoax shows how embarrassingly easy it is to hoodwink people

WOE! CHANNEL 4 has sabotaged my moral compass. This sensitive instrument now whirls uselessly as I sprawl before the kind of television I deplore. The sniggery, slow-moving voyeurism of the Big Brother age has found a chink in my armour . This corruption is — in more ways than one — an illustration of a fact well known to all snake-oil salesmen: if you go too far, go ludicrously far. The big lie is the best lie.

I am talking about Space Cadets. A production company has persuaded nine young people that they are in Russia as the first British “space tourists”, and that four of them would be blasted into orbit (lift-off was due last night). In reality the poor saps were flown in circles over the North Sea and have spent three weeks “training” on the old Bentwaters airbase near Ipswich. The company carefully disguised it as Russia by changing the electrical sockets, Blu-Tacking signs in Russian to the walls, buying in a load of spacey-looking junk, littering Cyrillic sweet wrappers round the place and serving cabbage. Actors pose as mission controllers and pilots, and an ex-KGB man teaches PE. Three dupes, plus a planted actor, finally go “up” in the “shuttle” — which is in fact an old Hollywood set.

MY 38DD S SPACE CADET SISTER WILL DO A ANYTHING FOR FAME
Karen Bale

SPACE Cadet reject Cheryl Dearie is still planning to become a star - despite her knockback from the reality TV show.

The 23-year-old Scot, who applied for an astonishing six reality shows before landing on the Channel 4 hoax series, was booted off the space mission on Sunday.

Show bosses axed ginger Cheryl - who dyes her hair blonde - from the final line-up to go into 'space'.

But last night, her sister Dawn, 35, insisted 38DD Cheryl would one day be a star.

She described her as 'Jade Goody with brains'.

And the mum-of-four revealed her sister would do anything to be a celebrity - apart from porn.
