I'm guessing seeing as South Atlantic storms are rare and they mentioned Brasil (Image wasn't shown of the live stream) that it might be this storm from "Tropical cyclone Catarina off Southern Brazil, 26 March 2004. The first hurricane recorded in the South Atlantic. "

Paul's messing about was in the wrong order.
1st was the eyes and his laughter was what woke Charlie.
After Charlie went back to sleep the next sign was added followed by the poetry.
I guess the rest was alot later.

That would be Billy. The last two nights they have ended the sleep period together.

I love the uncensored live feed it reminds me of how BB used to be on the feeds during BB2. Plus its 20 minutes ahead of E4 without the interruptions. I'm amazed they uplink it raw rather than edit it on-site
but I think too much talk about the studio feed on the CH4 forum may be backfiring as last night during rehearsals they cut to a different camera so both transponders had live streaming. Last time I was in the forum there were at least 3 others watching them.

Oh and on the subject of Billy ,last night he said he had been on an ITV dating show and had the date so either he was the one choosing from the 3 girls or he was chosen.

And main topic as you can see is the 'worm' that made it's appearance eariler today when Charlie was doing a number 2. Didn't see what happened so no idea if it was for real or made up. Something appeared and has been shown to the other cadets.

Re-entry and landing is going to be harder to simulate than the take-off. If they hadn't blocked off the other windows in the cab they could have installed monitors so they could generate the Plasma effect. But I think it's a lot rougher coming through the upper atmosphere and the cabin temperature has to rise during this time.
They also have to incline the sim as the shuttle coming in at an angle using the underside as a heat-shield and there is a lot of banking to reduce speed. Remember the real shuttle is travelling at speeds around Mac 25. I hope they have video ready so they can have the shield down during the landing to give the full effect. As it can be done on auto-pilot the actor pilots don't have to fly it in.

It will be fun to see how they attempt it. If it goes wrong at that stage nothing is lost as they will be finding out soon after the landing.

Tonight the rest of the cadets are told the truth and it looks like they are going to go into the shuttle cabin during tonight's show.
Though so far it looks like tonight's show is recorded. No rehearsals just a partial run of the show so far.

Paul has just broken the fridge ! He was tapping it as a Bass while Charlie was singing a western song when the door fell off ! Should be on the E4 stream in about 20 Mins.

That's the one bit they can't do. Think they'll just tip the sim up so they are force back in the seats and hope the beleive it.
Depending on the film you watch the angle of descent is between 29 and 40 degrees. I have a real shuttle recording (7 days in space) but you don't see any numbers to confirm the numbers.

Can't wait ......

Kerri has rumbled it !
They just had a space funeral to do and drew dropped and smashed the container with the dog's ashes in.
Kerri and Paul are both saying it's a set up and she says she thought it was a set-up from the moment they went into the shuttle and she thought it would come to a head by someone smashing a glass.

They are both saying it's a set-up this might be the end !

Well they aren't doing anything about it so the show runs till the last day.
Both Paul and Keri are saying it's a set-up a joke etc. Charlie who originally was trying hard to disprove what was being said has slightly changed ploy but hasn't totally sided with them. I don't think Billy actually sides with the others.
But the actors playing the pilot now they've blow it.
I guess the producers are on tender hooks hoping that by morning they will have forgotten the events of the night before else it won't be far into the morning before the 3 real cadets will be agreeing on the truth about the show.

I've been watching it live for the past hour or so - absolute comedy gold. I've really had to stifle my laughter!!

I don't think Keri and Paul are referring to the whole situation as a set-up, just the "Mr Bimby's funeral", although it might have raised a few suspicions.

Keri and Billy have had a bit of a disagreement about it, although they seem ok now.
Charlie's doing his best to convince Keri otherwise, and there was a great moment when the two "pilots" were alone in one section of the "shuttle" together, and they were silently laughing.

I've got to admit - I've really enjoyed this show.

Just watching Charlie and Paul discussing the event.
Absolutely hilarious.

Hope it does go the distance as the ending would be better.
The recorder gets put on the longest record length tomorrow morning just in case.

As a space geek this whole idea is great and the attention to detail they have gone to to pull this off is good but as I've said before , if they had any interest in the subject or had done any research before going on the show they would have seen through it a long time ago.
But as the others said tonight ,they had no reason not to believe what they were being told or seeing which helped put any doubts to the back of their minds.

Also having the uncensored raw streaming is excellent ,no time delay ,no sound drops etc. This is how it should be on reality shows. The viewers should accept a disclaimer before viewing and you get access to uncut feeds. A majority of views only every watch the nightly shows so never get the full picture and rely on what the producer want them to see and believe even when it so often means changing the sequence of events to portray someone differently.
