Join Bruce and Tess on Christmas Eve on BBC One for a special seasonal edition of Strictly Come Dancing.

This year our top four couples will be battling it out on the dancefloor with two of the celebrity contestants from the American version of the show, Dancing with the Stars.

Rachel Hunter and Evander Holyfield will each be paired with one of the professional dancers from Strictly Come Dancing.

Rachel will be dancing with Brendan Cole - Evander will be dancing with Karen Hardy.

Rod's ex taking on dance show stars

Rachel Hunter gets swept off her feet by partner Brendan Cole in the Strictly Come Dancing Christmas special.

The model and former wife of rocker Rod Stewart has been paired with romeo Brendan for a steamy version of the rumba. Rachel, 36, starred in the US version of the show.

Along with fellow US contestant Evander Holyfield, the former heavyweight boxing champion, she will battle it out against the top four couples from the British series.

Cricketer Darren Gough won the BBC1 show on Saturday night. Athlete Colin Jackson, chef James Martin and TV presenter Zoe Ball will also compete in the festive special on Christmas Eve.

Rachel, whose childhood ambition was to become a ballerina, came fourth in the US show, Dancing With The Stars.

There was drama last week when she was rushed to hospital with stomach pains.

Her spokeswoman said: "Rachel was in a lot of pain and doctors still don't know what was wrong, but she was determined to go ahead with the competition.

"She and Brendan have been rehearsing for five hours a day. The two of them clicked straight away and have had a lot of fun dancing together."

Brendan partnered series one winner Natasha Kaplinsky and the pair were reported to have enjoyed a four-month fling.

In the last series he partnered GMTV presenter Fiona Phillips but they were voted off in week three. wanadoo

Rachel Hunter, estranged wife of aging rocker Rod Stewart, has revealed she would jump and pivot at the chance to star in a London musical.

"I would love to do a show in the West End, especially one that has lots of dancing in it," said model Rachel.

The 36-year-old mother of two is currently filming a Christmas special for the BBC's dance sensation Strictly Come Dancing.

She has also apparently had to contend with the lusty advances of dance-partner Brendan Cole, former beau of Strictly winner and sometimes newsreader Natasha Kaplinsky.

Although admitting that the show's "sensual" dancing made it "easy to see how people can become attracted", Rachel was able to rebuff playboy Brendan.

"I don't do dating," she said.

After being single for over six months it sounds like a 100 per cent fact.

Teehee, yeah well done to them. I thought FOUR 10's was a bit over the top though. I'm happy that Zoe & Ian got into the top two, and of course it's lovely that Darren & Lilia won. {@}
Great show as well :) But for the first time EVER, the judges were annoying me with almost every couple.

Aww! I honestly thought Colin or Zoe who've both been consistently good throughout the series would have won tonight's show at least. Still, well done Lilia and Darren they danced really well tonight -even if Darren did look like a blood clot in that red ensemble. ::lol::

Rachel Hunter looked sort of like a ballet dancer more than a rumba dancer, I thought....absolutely STUNNING !

Evander Holyfield's jive had me in stitches!

Great series ()^
