After the successful 111-day run of "Pinoy Big Brother" (PBB) that featured 13 ordinary people, it’s now the turn of celebrities to fill the house in Eugenio Lopez Drive in Quezon City, TV Patrol World reported Monday.
The report said that PBB is set to kick off its "Celebrity Edition" in the first week of February.
The special edition will last for six weeks. Personalities from showbiz, sports, modeling industry, as well as from the media will face and be with each other for the entire duration of the challenge.
PBB executives are now in the process of selecting the 12 celebrity housemates. Another round of interviews among shortlisted celebrities will be conducted on Friday.
Earlier reports said semi-retired sexy actress Rosanna Roces and TV host Amy Perez were among those who have auditioned for the hit reality show.
Other stars, however, admitted that while they have enjoyed the program they do not find it easy being inside a house full of cameras.
"I have to think about it, I am not sure if I'm ready to be watched by the whole nation that way," said Marvin Agustin.
Sexy actress-turned-interior designer Carmi Martin, for her part said she finds PBB challenging though she might be the first one up for eviction.
Actor-rapper Carlos Agassi, meanwhile, could only give hint on his interest in joining the show.
"I would like to tell everyone that I am soon going into something different [but] I can't tell you yet what it is," Agassi said.
Fortuneteller Madam Auring, on the other hand, said she regrets that the 40-year old age limit kept her from joining her favorite show. "Much as I want to, I could not join because I'm already 46," she said.
