Bizarre is definitely a word I'd use for that. Strange how Nadia, Stuart and Michelle were all in the last one where Brian came out at the top and I haven't noticed them getting more popular if you see what I mean. How odd :-?

Eh? Most strange. I haven't noticed that  Spencer becoming less popular or unpopular. Especially now he's been showing what a great not-so-little trouper he is.

flying visit from me

I agree with the oddness of the vote

how was Craig most popular BB6 HM?

surprised Makosi made it in top 20, considering abuse she got from crowd (and the general "she deserved" views)

what have Nadia/Michelle/Emma done in the year to become more popular

how many people actually voted in this?

seems to me like a skewed vote by certain fanbases

ttfn

Yeah, the programme was absolutely laughable.

BB5 was absolutely dire in my opinion, so how 5 of the top 6 came from that rubbish is beyond me. Mind you, I suspect a few campaigns... ;)

The poll(how many people actually knew there was a poll??) was supposed to be based on most 'memorable' housemate, rather than 'likeable', so memories of Makosi, Craig...etc. still flicker.

So concerned was I that this poll had not been given the publicity of the first one that I e-mailed C4 expressing my concerns. They e-mailed back on the 17 November 2005 denying that they were holding another poll and denying point blank that there were any plans to make another show as it was far too soon after the last one.

I am absolutely spitting because in point of fact they did not tell me the truth.

it was a rubbish poll and a v silly programme
How can Ray fall from Number 6 to nowhere?
And where were Dan and Cameron?

Apparently these were the five "least popular" housemates.

1) Gos
2) Lee
3) Vanessa (BB5)
4) Tania
5) Sissy

Which proves it was a load of rubbish....Gos is lovely!

It was absolutely shameful that the likes of Stuart, Michelle, Emma?? & even Nadia beat Brian or were anywhere near him.

The vote was a joke - simple as.

The show was a waste of time, imo. And Dermot presenting it does not help he is starting to get on my wick!

Ahh! I didn't realise that it was supposed to be the most memorable housemate. This probably distorted the results then, because some people who voted, may have been voting for most memorable and some for most likeable.

This poll was also probably an Internet based one and so is not very accurate, because not everybody uses the Internet and there may be a lot of Cameron fans, for example, who may not use the Internet.

Also, as pil says, how many people knew about the poll? I suspect it was very biased with lots of campaigns from fan sites.

There was some kind of mass orchestrated voting in the Michelle Bass camp, hence her being at number 2.

People had to vote for 5 as well, so the Michelle fans were obviously going to go for the likes of Stuart, Nadia, Emma and Marco, hence them all being in the top 6.

Bit of a farce really - bit embarrasing, as it was obvious what had gone on. Channel 4 should have cancelled all the multiple votes to get a better idea of who the top 20 housemates are meant to be!!

I wasn't surprised to see the gang of Michelle, Emma, Marco, Nadia & even Michelle's ex Stuart close together - anybody could see a mass campaign had been organised - but why did Endemol not see this??

If it was like last times vote, you could vote more than once. This should not have been allowed.

They probably did, but felt they couldn't do anything about it I suppose?

Poor Dermot though - having to try to convince us that Nadia, Michelle, Stu, Marco and Emma were 5 out of the 6 most popular BB HM's ever! ::lol::

Never mind the warning about nudity and scenes of a sexual nature prior to the programme starting - they should have warned viewers to switch off, cos a small number of people turned it into a joke!

C4 want the public to think more highly of BB5 and BB6 than the earlier BB's which most people who watched them would think superior.
