My great-great-uncle was in a Mitchell & Kenyon film

I've received e-mails from Charles Kennedy and a letter from JCB boss Sir Anthony Bamford

A documentary that my dad worked on was bought by Channel 4 20-odd years ago but never scheduled

I was friends with the grandmother of one of the girls that Benny Hill used to chase on his shows

I touched a Dalek that actually appeared in Doctor Who

I recently found out that Brian May & Anita Dobson sometimes visit one of my favourite restaurants

I met somebody who thought they were famous on Saturday (not speaking about Muppet by the way!) - it was soooo funny! We were at work and my boss is there and this guy comes in and starts reeling off all the things he has done since my boss had last seen him - I was trying so hard not to laugh because it was blatantly obvious m y boss couldn't so much as remember his name.

My boss said to me after "Jessica, there's a new claim to fame for you - meeting the manager of *some sports team*" He did actually say the name of the team but I can't remember. But I was standing there cringing for this bloke who was like not taking a breath between saying absolutely everything about himself. :-?

Recently I saw Tony Head (Giles in Buffy, the Prime Minister in Little Britain) walking round our local Tesco's. He lives in the next village to me.
He was getting pestered for an autograph by an elderly woman in the frozen food section.

:x

I served Stewart McKimmie (ex-Aberdeen FC player) lunch at his Testimonial Lunch at my Secondary School when I was in 4th year, he used to go to the same school when he was a boy. ::lol::

I also appear VERY briefly in D:Ream's "Things Can Only Get Better" video.

Last week half my head was in a paper that could be purchased all over Scotland

Oh, and my name was in last month's issue of a magazine but as it has my surname I'm not saying which one.

I've had a "bit of a fling" with one of the people in this picture, and no, it wasn't Mariah Carey!

Awww, I've never seen that Fame Academy photograph before - it's really nice. The person the "bit of a fling" was with it looking particularly nice actually ;)

Just a question, is Ainslie wearing his hairband with devils horns or is his hair sticking up really funny? ::lol::

lmao! It does look like his devil horns, doesn't it?!
I think it might be a marking on the board behind them perhaps?

It's almost as good as when the BB camermen line up the shot so that the cactus is just above the head of whoever is sitting in the lone orange chair.... :-? ::lol::

I gave a tv interview about why I was going to Poland for dental treatment but didn't see it as they don't get BBC over there... Did an audio-diary of the trip for radio and was supposed to call some Evening Post reporter about it but I lost his card so prob won't bother.

Typical, only been on tv twice and the first time all you saw was the top of my head looking down a microscope and the second time I didn't see it.

Probably for the best tho, it was cold and windy and my brother said I looked like a witch with frizzy hair and a red nose... :-(

Oh and this isn't my claim to fame but it made me laugh. My friends parents run a Chinese restaurant in London and Jimmy Page walked in. My friend is really into his music and he was almost beating his head on the counter when his mum said:

'So what do you do for a living young man?'
'Well I used to be in a band but I'm not anymore'

at which time she patted him on the shoulder and said

'Don't worry son, you keep trying and you'll be famous one day...'

i did a classic double take today as I was walking up the street in Bath and a bloke looking EXACTLY like Colin Firth was walking down the other side with an elderly lady.

Would have been lovely if it had been him!
