It's not a scary book...in fact it is one of the most powerful books I have ever read. It's a story of hope when they're looks like there isn't any.

I'm reading Memoirs of a Geisha by Arthur Golden. It's quite long and I'm not quite half way through but it's very good. I would like to see the film. The book had a lot of good reviews which is what made me pick it up.

Oh HC that is a wonderful book. I don't think the film could ever match up to it and look forward to discussing it with you when you're finished. Though I will have to skim through it first as I read it about 4 years ago.

I might start a thread about when we're done so we can all have a chat about it. It's so good.

My friends are taking the mickey because I'm still reading it, well I have about a couple of chapters left, so not much longer to go soon. I think I'll go book shopping next week, haven't had time recently.

Trouble is I have been given two huge bags of books to get through so I can't warrant getting anymore :-?

Why don't we make it our book of the month and I'll re-read it, though I'll have to re-buy it first. :D
