REALITY TV hopefuls queued up to conceive a baby with a stranger live on air for a £10,000 prize.

More than 200 applied to take part in the show, hosted by ex-Big Brother stars Makosi Musambasi and Craig Coates.

But neither the wannabes nor the presenters were told that Let's Make a Baby was a spoof - set up to see how far people would go to get on TV.

Makosi said: "They are playing for the ultimate prize - life itself. There has never been a show like this." Contestants agreed to live in a "love hotel" with the least attractive being voted out each week.

The remaining two couples then had a race to conceive a child and win the cash.

One male contestant admitted: "It will be a real challenge for me - I'm gay." The fly-on-the-wall documentary follows comedian Danny Robins trying to sell the show's format to TV channels - and getting interest from America, Zambia, Russia and South Africa. He said: "The response was amazing." The spoof will be shown as part of BBC3's Mischief series on Thursday at 10.30pm.

What next :-? It is depressing to think there are people out there who would take part in this type of show, never mind want to present it.

LONDON - Continuing with her controversial ways, Zimbabwean former Big Brother UK star, Makosi Musambasi, has the world literally in the palms of her hands. She has taken the hard-to-penetrate British entertainment industry by storm. Besides grossing substantial British pounds from photo shoots with leading newspapers across the globe, Musambasi has been engaged to host a BBC3 reality show entitled 'Let's Make a Baby'.

I see why they were selected. As any normal moral person would of been appalled by the concept, only a self obsessed vile sputum of the celebritie wanabies would be so blinded by their sick distorted needs would do it.

I hope they are derided and admonished harshly and viciously by the program makers, thou as its bbc3 no @@@@s going to see it
